I am kinda thinking the same as Hondo Jim, it has been quiet around here. Not counting today, there are four days until the first race of the season and there are only 11 entries. Where is everyone? Get em done guys and gals, times getting short!
Ordinarily I am insane, but I do have lucid moments where I am merely stupid.
I never TRY to hit another car. But when I do I make sure its a Prius.

Nice looking Chevy, Lee.

Everyone has built great looking cars for this season.
Hope others are just waiting to sign in at the last minute.
(But, I know how life is these days. Fighting my own battles)
Lefty, at least with 11 cars......... we gotta a better shot !! jump

See y'all in "The Cheeze State."

Well Hondo, at least you are optimistic. With my luck, there could be 4 cars in the field, I enter 2 of them and never would finish higher than 5th. Thats why I NEVER play poker, shoot dice or feed slot machines. I could also have the only number in the hat and someone would draw the hat size tag. I am sure your luck will be better, I have last place covered so you don't have to worry about finishing there. r:r

Nice builds everyone, really impressed with the entries this year as always...even if only eleven so far. Hats off to all, as the variety is nice to see with the different ideas.

Lights have been on here in our shop for the last week, continuous and around the clock as we work to complete our entries. But, we have also rolled an older car from around back of the shop, and may very well have to run the first race in it to insure that we do not lose points right out of the gate.

Lefty/Hondo, don't take dibs on P12 just yet as that could be taken given our luck so far (or lack there of)!

Racin' Jason, I don't know where you are located but if you are anywhere north of the Mason-Dixon, you will be fine. If you are not….well…….Enjoy the season! r:r

After a lot of screaming, temper tantrums, etc. I finally talked my engine man "Creeb" the ultimate FORD fanatic to once again drag the Monte Carlo out of the weeds, get her cleaned up and refresh the motor. We had considered setting out this year until we are able to build a FORD, but the siren song of the tour got the best of us.

Entry
Driver: Kim
Owner: Johnson Racing
Crew: Ricky, Creeb, Homer, Odell, and 'Snarter'
Primary Sponsor: Pennzoil
