Figured this one out while rummaging thru the salvage yard at the LHS ..... As it turns out 1:25 exhaust pipe that comes in any kit of a regular production vehicle ...except big rigs, of course, is aprox. the same diameter as 1:25 radiator hose (aprox. 2mm.) Since exhaust pipe is molded in all sorts of different bends and angles ,it works perfect with a variance of +/- 0.25 mm as sampled when compared to the kit radiator hose. All the builder needs to do is to figure what sort of bend/angle and length is needed, locate the section of exhaust pipe that matches and cut it out. |
