This is the place to enter the 2016 Southern Fryed Drag Tour. Please place at least 2 but not more than 4 pictures of your drag car here (no on trailer photos) along with the following info;

1. car
2. driver and crew
3. owner/team
4. sponsor info
5. history and etc.

Please post at least one 3/4 front view and one side view of your car shot with a plain white background.

Like last year, you will have to furnish your quarter mile ET and MPH that you obtain from the following site. This is necessary so that I don't over nor underestimate the potential of your entry.

Calculate your ET and MPH here.

Just input your car's weight and flywheel HP, then hit the calculate button. Your entry will be considered incomplete without this information.

Just build, or substantially rebuild, an entry for the 2016 Southern Fryed Drag tour. The 2016 SNRA Southern Fryed Drag tour is open to any newly built or rebuilt, purpose built drag racing car or truck. We are hoping for new, purpose built cars this year. Post your "work in progress" in the Drag forum of the Scale Racing Lobby Only completed entries go in replys here.

NO bracket racers nor motorcycles will be accepted this year.

Our Sixth season will start on Feb. 13, 2016. Feel free to ask any questions.

Has a checkered past.

Stand on it....brakes only slow yoou down.

OK Guys, once again from the Podunkville area we have an entry for the SFDT. Mr. Bobby Bledsoe of Stankwell Falls offers up his 32 A/Altered Sedan for competition. Some of you may remember that last season Mr. Bledsoe was working on a 41 Willys for the tour and ran into some problems and had to wait until this season. Now, he is ready. The Car:

1932 Sedan Altered
Engine is 1957 Olds @ 417 cubic inches with front mounted blower
Chassis is converted early track roadster
Driver is Bobby Bledsoe. He is also the crew and sponsor
(Bledsoe Sanitation and Landfill)
Trans. B&M 4 speed Hydro
HP 575
ET 8.33
MPH 162
NOTE: In real life, this car would be more 140 mph at 10.61. The calculator will not allow me to get those numbers with real hp and weight so I went with the calculator here.

Bobby purchased this car from Leonard Ledbetter in primer and finished it this past summer. Leonard has teamed up with Heckpussy LaFlamme for this season and didn't need it any longer. I am sure Leonard and old Heck will help him along a little. Good Luck Bobby!

Ordinarily I am insane, but I do have lucid moments where I am merely stupid.
ANY problem race car can be cured with a pound of C 4, Detonator and a 12 volt battery.
Your drivers attitude will improve if you have the correct load in your Mossberg.

This year's entry from Historic Racing Associates is the notorious Terrible Topolino Fuel Coupe. state of the art in 1965 when it ruled Competition Eliminator in SoCal. It features a 153 inch wheelbase ultra-light Don Long chassis, one of the first 426 cu. in. elephant motors to be run in a rail outside of AA Fuel and it's famous Mighty Mouse graphics, all carefully restored from the original car found two years ago in the Midwest, The opportunity to run the car wide open "in anger" instead of just in "demonstration mode" at a Cacklefest, is too good to pass up. We look forward to taking on all comers at SNRA Southern Fryed 2016!

Car: "Terrible Toppolino" Fiat Fuel Coupe
Driver: Paul D. "Speed Merchant" Smith
Crew: Robert C."The Professor" Post
Engine: Blown 426 Hemi
ET 7.45 @ 187.84 mph
1085 lbs. - 575 hp

OK, this makes it official. Thanks to Agnes Cudahy, Grandmother of Emily, here is the 2016 entry of Emily Cudahy which is a loaner from Agnes. This Dart was pulled from Anges' private collection of cars she keeps locked away in a large building in Podunkville. She has given strict orders that NO ONE touches the car except Emily and Horace. All others that attempt to do so will be shot. And she means it.

The Car:
1968 Dodge Dart GTS
440 Dodge built by Landy Automotive Research.
727 Auto Tranny with ONE of two special valve bodies known to exist.
Dana 44 rear axle with 5:88 ring and pinion
Battery moved to trunk, heater and radio delete and wiper motor and drive removed.
Acid dipped body and lexan side windows.
490 HP
10:13 ET
Weight is 2580
133.36 MPH (With Agnes doing the driving) Emmys best in tests have been 126
After sitting for some years, car was given a cleaning and tune up. Guess we will see how a 1968 SS/EA legal car with a rookie driver fairs with the SFDT crowd.

Crew is Emmys Dad, Horace with some help from Leonard Leadbetter and Heckpussy LaFlamme, since those knuckleheads don't have their act together yet.
