Welcome ladies, gentlemen, kids of all ages, crews, and drivers to 13th event of the SNRA 2015 Southern Fryed Drag Tour here at the For the Fans Classic at Yellow River Dragstrip in Covington, Georgia, the most infamous dragstrip of them all.

The 2015 SNRA Southern Fryed Drag Tour has been a very closely fought battle. We’ve had twelve different winners in the first twelve events. It’s been a close fought battle with Speed's lead dropping from 7 to 5 points over Dannyboy, with Mick only another 2 points behind, but time is running out. Two weeks ago no one, who had run all season, had been mathematically eliminated from winning the season championship. As of this week with two events to go, only the top 16 drivers have a mathematical chance of winning the championship.

Enough talk about who might win and let's go racing and see if we can find who will be tonight's For the Fans Champion.

Our first driver of the evening is tonight's fast qualifier, Doc Dremel driving his bright yellow HellRaiser. a Hemi powered Bantam Roadster sponsored by Iron Cannibal Racing. Doc will be making a single car pass.

Posted Image

Doc warms his tires and stages. Doc charges off and makes a clean pass. Doc will move on to round 2.

Our first pair is Kevin Barron VS our points leader, Paul D. "Speed Merchant" Smith.

Kevin is driving a blown Hemi Fiat Altered called "Pucker Power".

Posted Image

The Speed Merchant will be back in his winning Cadillac powered Undertaker Prototype for the Historic Racing Associates.

Posted Image

The drivers do their burnouts and stage. Speed roars off with a 1.7 second lead. Kevin charges after him, and catches him in time. Kevin is in round 2.

Has a checkered past.

Stand on it....brakes only slow yoou down.

Good for you Doc! fbr fbr fbr Long overdue for a good racer. I feel like it is slipping away from us. I've been tired, and I guess so has Titus, though we managed to do very well in the oval race.
Very interesting, I thought no one would beat Speed or a dragster, but the Fabulous Dannyboy is poised! What a series! :)))
