I bought the vacu-formed body from Hayward Model Parts here about 20 or more years ago and didn't know what to do for a chassis. SO it sat in the bag for quite awhile. I got some Evergreen plastic a few years ago and made templates of the body so I can now cut it from sheet stock and glue it together.
I'm using the chassis from the Revell number 52 Camaro for this build and an engine from a NASCAR kit.

All this seems a really good idea Kerry. rrr It's goona look perfect and right! Its the way I'd do it, certainly. :)))
Remember when Mark Melchiori did Preitzel's Frankin FLyer years ago, reminds me of that only it will be cleaner given the parts you've got now. Great!

The vacu-formed bodies are nice to have. I didn't get more when I had the chance but wanted more so I traced it out to use it over again.

Dave, thanks for the kind words. I kind of remember Marks but not sure on it... I do agree on the parts of today and glad I waited til now to build it..... Hopefully when I paint it it will do it some justice. Most I can do is muss it up right??!!

Thanks Mark!!!!

Thanks Bernard, the white decals are from Slixx. The decals on the door (number 4 and Dawson Speed Shop) are printed by a friend of mine..

Thanks Mike, I got the wheels from someone we know here......... LOL George!! and I did a trade and he sent me two built up Sprinters. The tires and wheels came from them along with two tires I already had on hand. They are all left rears from sprinters (Outlaw)...
