Welcome ladies, gentlemen, kids of all ages crews, and drivers to the 12th round of the SNRA 2015 Southern Fryed Drag Tour here at the House of Hook Challenge at Carolina Dragway in Jackson, South Carolina. The major story this week has been the beautiful weather for the past few days. It's almost 80 degrees and dry. We drew for pairings tonight, just like we did in Rounds 4 and 8.

So without wasting any more of this whole in the rain, we will bring out our fast qualifier and winner of the eight event, Aussie Mick Gadd in his '87 Motorcraft Thunderbird Pro-Stock to make a single car pass.

Posted Image

Mick does his burnout, trying to put some heat in his tires. He gingerly takes off searching for traction the whole length of the track. Mick will be moving on to round 2.

Has a checkered past.

Stand on it....brakes only slow yoou down.

"Tired Iron Racin'," HECK! Iron endures, it don't get "tired". When it gets red y' jus' scrape it off and mix it with varnish & y'gots yourself some primer. Del knows this. - Cat also knows his way down a straightline, and it was a well-deserved win. Good for you, Del.

We're gettin' kinda nostalgic over here at Team Paitch-Valente, what wit' just two dates left in this here Tour. We've met a lot of good folk and formed some tight friendships, & we all learned a bunch in our first season. Well, the Lakes're drying out nice now, so we're gonna be busy I guess, but - DANG, what're we gonna do until next Spring?

Ya know, I just might decide to build me a car and run it m'self next year. - Who'll push it?

Heck, Leonard Leadbetter said he'd be more'n happy to push ya if you build a car. He said when this season is over, the old '29 gets put away for good. He could keep you all stocked up with fuel----and the car too!! Del says that the Monster T-Bird and Little Black Nova gave him the "Pucker Factor" all night. He swears that there is a new button hole in his seat cover now. He says he plans to run next year but the Cream Separator business is really picking up, he will have to wait and see. Roy said the old Hudson crankshaft is now in three pieces and don't have a spare. Don't know if he will get to finish or not. If you do build a car next year, give Leonard a yell. I reckon you two would be something else!
Ordinarily I am insane, but I do have lucid moments where I am merely stupid.
ANY problem race car can be cured with a pound of C 4, Detonator and a 12 volt battery.
Your drivers attitude will improve if you have the correct load in your Mossberg.
