I wasn't sure where to put this, if it needs to be moved, totally understand.

I started out with a drawing, an idea and two kits.... A Camaro snapper, Nissan Skyline by Tamiya..

Then things took another turn. What if Dale Earnhardt would of taken up road racing instead of NASCAR????

Used electrical conduit connectors to make the hoops for the wheels..

It'd more than likely run in a series in Germany, DTM http://www.dtm.com/de/dtm-fotoalbum

Rick, the connectors I got from Home Depot. I forget the size of them. 1 inch I think. They have threads on them and they have to be ground off smooth to fit into tires. I just took a tire from the Tamiya kit with me and looked around until I found something that fit. Once the threads are ground off it can be cut to width and de-burred. Then they can be painted or polished, then add centers of choice.... in this case I used the Camaro centers...

Thanks for the kudos on Photography!!!!
