This is a Tobais chassis with the ' 40 Ford body. Pretty much box stock except for PPP wheels and tires.

Hand lettered number XX ( as was on the previous # 2 modified )and sponsor eXter and Son Auto Parts. Thus the number x duplicated for the son.

Speedy Lube on the hood is part decal and part hand lettering.

I think it represents an old backyard warhorse. Hope you like it.

fbr Beautiful old '40 modified. And as usual your hand lettering makes me green with envy; I can't write my name legibly with a pencil and you are slinging paint with ease. Love the back story of the "XX" number.
