1989 Tide Daytona 500 winner

1989 Daytona winner. Monogram kits, narrowed fenders, added cowel to base of windshield, flush fitted headlight covers. Added passenger side window and lower body skirt. Used "Ford rear steer" chassis to be more accurate. Powerslide decals. Pictures don't do justice, the colors are really bright.

I remember DW doing the Ikky Shuffle in Victory Lane, and spiking his helmet. He won another race not long after that, and spiked his hat instead. Said he didn't run the risk of damaging a hat like he did his helmet. The size difference between the Monte Carlo and the Lumina amazes me. Great builds! fbr
