80's Late model WIP

Here is the dirt late model im working on.The body is one that I cast just changed the nose some. Still need to finish the decking and rear deck bracing. Tires are PPP and rims I done myself,body still needs clearing and some final touches will post more when its done.

I think a red pushbar would do nicely on this one. I started prepping my body I got from you and wounder what body filler you recomend for a couplf of pinholes. How you coming with the older nose?

Some cars from that era ran a hoop up through the nose. But, I think yours would look better just how you have it now.

Grill decal and headlights would dress it up. What tires are those? They look like the ones RonR has on his site.

Kevin there the ones Ron sells PPP Block pattern. Drew I use 3M spot putty you can get at walmart. Also cars in that era Kevin didn't use head light decals but did have a grill cut in front!

Thanks for the comments :))) I gotta go back to Wal-Mart to get more craft stuff to finish it up.....My other's got lost somewhere .?. .?. Got another one in the works that is modeled after one a famous nascar driver ran back in the day but done reversed color scheme :lol:

Impressive build, really like the mid to late 80s look to this ride. And the stantz is spot on, with what I am sure is more good add-ons/finishing touches to come.

Nicely done sir, your hard work and attention to detail displays in this build.
