Hi guys. I built this as a diversion from some other junk going on, so here is my take on the Meyers Manx - Had a couple of friends in New Mexico that had these little blasters in real life way back - talk abou fun!!! Take the Bug body off, shorten the chassis down by 12 - 16 inches, add "roll bars" (HA) little bit wider tires, bigger jugs on the engine, cam it, and put a bag o' snakes exhaust, and then let's go dune blastin!!

B) :))) :))) :))) I have a couple of those Manx kits. Thinking about doing a Brass Rail Chassis for one. Also have a Tamiya VW, and Fujimi Porsche Engine I`m thinking about casting.

Hey, that's awesome Pops! I was thinking about a sand rail when I started this one, just decided I needed to do a quick build to finish something! I would certainly be in the market for those engines when you start castin them. Now all we need is a good Corvair engine too!! :)))
