Here are some photos of my very first try at a diorama, the AMB Pit at 5th Dimension Speedway. I tried some aerial and overall views as well as with my Nascar Camping World East Intrepid Late Model. In one photo Crew Chief Brutus Webb can be seen in what we thought would be a shot of him changing rear end gears, but instead in appears to be trying to lick the Peach State Tools Logo off of the creeper which is typical. In the other photos he can be seen in his favorite spot on top of the war wagon. Hope you enjoy these, I hope to make it a universal backdrop for different builds in the future and may put a Cyclone fence with some signs up in the back.
:))) Dave B.

Carl, not better than what you could do, but thanks a lot! Yay. 12r

and Mercman, thanks for the kind words and the input. I just can't figure out what to use for the mesh on the fence considering scale and so forth?

Anyway, thank you and God Bless you guys,
Dave B.

Well God Bless you Carl. It's pretty simple, I think it really does need that fence. Brutus is all rarin' to go to dig the holes for the posts!

Another good fence material is the nylon bathing puffs you can get in almost any grocery, WalMart, or other drugstore; and they are very resonably priced, plus there is a bunch of material on them. They can also be stretched to a fair size scale opening and spray painted.
That is one really nice looking dio. I have one I have been planning on for a few years, but have not really had any time to dedicate to it.
I build models because GOD allows me to and because I can't afford the real thing!!

Dang, how did I miss this post? I think you did a bang up job for this being your first diorama, Dave. However, I am NOT going with you to buy bridal veil material! r:r

Buy AMERICAN, the job you save could be your own!

That Ricer that you just bought - sold- assembled...just cost my wife her job at GM.........Thanks.

Man, that Ricer of yours is fast, you were really movin' when I passed you in my Dodge!
