The knuckle heads that hang around the Cat Sass Garage told me today, "Hey Big the track opens Friday night we need to build a new race car, the old one is worn out". Not only do they want to build a new car but they want to build one with fenders, something we have never done before. I don't know about these guys but we're going to give it a shot. I'll try to take progress pictures but don't know if I'll have time since we will be burning the midnight oil on this one. Here's what we are starting with.

Maybe this will get me out of my building funk and I'll get my sprint car finished.

Okay we started on the car about 6:30 CDT tonight.

Well the guys got busy and got a lot of work done tonight. Got the fenders cut out and the running boards cut off. Found some wheels and tires and got the suspension pretty well worked out. The rear suspension and rear end was made from the kit parts with the rear axle cut out and replaced with the quick change out of the Chevelle modified stocker kit. They also got the roll cage built. If they'd work this hard on paying jobs we could pay somebody to build our car. r:r

Have to get busy in the morning if this thing is going to be ready for Friday night.
