For my first build of the new year is the third in the series of cars my dad drove back in the 50s/60s This car a 37 Chevy 6 cyl. which ran in the Non-Ford division at the Freeport Stadium on Long Island.The one rule they had was that it had to be a 6cyl. and not a Ford. ![]() ![]() Carl |

Got some more done to it now waiting for some better weather to shoot some paint on it. Wired the engine,ran brake lines and a first for me opened and hinged the trunk lid. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Made the gas tank out of an exacto blade holder Carl |

Thanks guys this is turning out to be a fun build.What I used for the filler neck on the tank was evergreen tube and an generator cut in half and hollowed out for the cap,and evergreen for the straps Carl |

Was just "looking back thru some of the posts", and when I started looking at this again........was wondering.......... What have you got the trunk hinges "hooked to" inside the body, that allows them to pivot ?????????? DJ |
