Well Guys, The building seems to have gone Quite around here so whos up for a Jalopy build !!! Paul.. :unsure:

What PAUL is talking about, would be the type of "pre-modifieds" that ran back in the 50's, and into the EARLY 60's. One of the "sites" that has THOUSANDS of pictures that you can look at (to get ideas) is the CALIFORNIA JALOPY ASSN.

I "think we have TIME" on this build!!!!!!!!!!!! rlr3 rlr3

Thanks DJ, Mate thats what im talking about so dont stress guys its about having fun & we finish when were done so plenty of build time just keep posting pics to keep everyone building & my only two rules to the whole build is have fun & Flatheads & inliners forever. So lets see some great builds heavy on the dents & dings,weatherin & lots a rusty stuff & a lot of laughs along the way. Paul.... r:r

im glad i decided to go for the flatty r:r and im almost at the painting stage pics maybe tommarow r:r its turning out realy well im happy with it i think ill need to invest in a resin site below for some wheels

I have a lot of reference materials on jalopy's and would be glad to share. DJ mentioned the website for the California Jalopy Association. I was talking to Tom Luce last week, the guy who hosts the site plus published a book with 1500 photos, and he said that the site will be going down soon.Catch it while you can. :P

.cc. Yo Mo !! r:r Dick Tracy is a '36 Ford - 5wnd. coupe. Here's what I mocked up today. I even cut the roof section out. '36 was the last year for soft roof inserts. Tooling for dies got bigger and better for '37.
