This is real Funny cars not the rolling billboards of today . I could do with out the big contracts and the big spon package to watch these car run again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looking at those pictures bring back alot of memories,a neighbor down the street from us on L.I. had a Covair bodied Funny Car named the Mouse that Roared and it sure did when he fired it up.This was back in the early 70s.

rrr rrr rrr This is a FANTASTIC SITE!!!!!!!!!!!!! And, having been working for IHRA during the mid-to-late 70's, there are just SO MANY MEMORIES that these cars bring back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
