My First Build.....

after a ten plus year lay off. I thought I had posted this before but while looking back through all the old posts I realized I hadn't. Like I said this was the first model I had built in over ten years and it really got me back into modelling. I built this last July when I decided to get out of slot car racing. It started life as a AMT 34 Ford model. Everything in it is either a kit part or something I built. There are no resin parts in it at all.

Well Mike, I have to say, for so many years of "lay-off", you sure did a GREAT JOB on the "come-back" model, (FRONT ONE END TO THE OTHER)!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOVE the little dual-deuce "flattie", and the "headers"!!!!!!!!!! :))) :)))

Hey Mike

That 's one impressive build for the first one after ten years. The Old school builds are what racing is all about. Thanks for sharing

.z. for all the compliments guys. Glad you all liked my efforts. Now I need to try to get back in the mood to do some more modeling.

MIKE......... easiest way to "get back in the mood", is just bring the wife's "honey do list" into the "model building area", HOLD THE LIST UP, THEN LOOK AT THE MODEL BOXES, and "decide" WHICH ONE YOU WANNA DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! r:r r:r r:r

But I don't have anybody to give me a "honey do list" and don't want one either. r:r
