Built this old modified, as one of the first of the "re-released" kits that I found, but, couldn't bring myself to "powering it" with the "what-cha-call-it" that was in the kit, SO............................... ![]() HOW ABOUT AN OLD SIX BANGER WITH TRIPLE CARBS.............................(NOTICE, was still using "thread" for plug wires............) ![]() ![]() Even the OLD MOPARS KNEW HOW TO RACE!!!!!!!!!!!! 3rr 3rr TECHMAN |

In answer to a "question on the phone", that I guess I sorta "left things blank" while posting the pictures............ Yes, the frame IS DIFFERENT than what came in the kit. I actually used the frame out from an old '32 Chrysler kit, (along with the suspension front/rear), and the engine was "fabricated" out of the "scrape heap" of engines in my parts piles....... The grille shell also came out of the old Chrysler, actually, about the only things that got "used" outta the '36 Plymouth Modified kit, was the body, interior "tub", and the firewall. I made the hood out of sheet plastic, and just "bent it" sort of like we did on the 1:1 modified hoods............... I apologize for not "including" any information about it originally. TECHMAN |

VERY COOL race car D J ! I have been wanting to use the old Chrysler kit for a race car myself but just haven't ever gotten around to it. I figured I would just shorten that big ole Chrysler straight 8 into a 6. I love the grill on the car, makes it stand out in a crowd for sure. Mo |
