I just got a shipment of bodies from that Resin Guy with a workshop. 3 bodies of the 53 Stude I mastered and 3 of his 33 Chevy 3 window. Here's my problem, I have two engines I want to use for the 1st build. One is the inline 6 from the 51 Chevy kit with the Fisher Head, and the other is a resin 327 with fuel injection from Pops. I know I have 3 bodies, I only have one custom frame built from a Dodge Ram D50. Which engine first?

Thanks,

Doc

Well Doc, looks like most all the votes so far are inliner. By the way we can say Fred`s Resin Workshop on here. I know there are places you can`t mention J&S, Early Racing Classics or Early Years Resin but this is still an open forum. I hope everyone feels free to let members know where you get your parts. Can`t wait to see this build. rlr

I know that Ron. It was my feeble attempt at a HA HA!!! That's why I'm here. No insecure casters here, just plain folk, and some DANG good modelers. Will try to post pics as I go. Maybe have some up tomorrow.

OK, Guys here's some progress pics of what I'm trying to throw together.
Posted Image
In this shot are some of the parts I'll be throwing together. The lower frame is the stock D50 Ram frame out-of-the-box, ERC Flemke front w/EYR dropped axle. rear-end is Classic Karl Stark w/ ladder bars.

Posted Image
The tires are from TJ's Custom Casting. The rears are straight out of the mold. The rt front is the left rear with one section removed, the left front is a left rear with two sections removed. Wheels are from Fred's resin workshop.

Posted Image
Another shot of the rear

Posted Image
This a shot of how the modified frame fits the 33 Chevy body from Fred's.

No pics of the engine yet. After some research on the net, the cylinder head is not correct in the kit, so I'm making the corrected head for it.
Hope you enjoy,

Doc

Thanks Ron, I'll have to move the trans mount forward . I will cut the mount out of the gray frame and install it in the white one. When everything is in place, I'll remove the mount from the white one and put it in the gray frame.
