Well guys I finally finished this one. I have a new respect for you guys that build these early ones. The suspension and under the hood has some very tight fit problems but some how I muddled through it. It will be a while before I build the sister car to this one but I'll keep it a surprise till its done.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the kind words. Rebel the decals were a pain. I used the testors decal system. First I printed the yellow decals on clear decal paper but when I applied them to the model they just dissapeared on the black model. I had used the clear sheets before to make red decals for a white car and they worked just fine. I then put black backgrounds around the decals and printed them on white decal paper. This time it worked but I had to touch up the decals with a fine black sharpie between the letters because my printer would not print the black back ground black enough to where it would not be noticed. I then went over them with good old Future and they looked pretty good. Too bad they can't come up with a new printer to replace the alps. If you want to make a one of a kind model that the decal makers dont want to do your kinda out of luck.
