Well, here is the final result. Rat Trap Vega, in sudo Gulf livery. This is the most detailed build I have done. Not the greatest job on the details, but overall I am pleased with it. Replace the front coils with ones made from wire, added fuel and brake lines, plug wires, wheels, tires, hubs from Jamie. Wire mesh is from a screen repair kit. Headers are made from solder and aluminum tube. May add a couple of more decals, especially on the hood and decklid to cover some spots where the paint lifted. And also want to make some driver name decals for it. Thanks as always for looking.

Dave

Nice build Dave. You did great work with a sub par kit. One question tho. Are you going to build another one?

Thanks guys! Yeah Bobby, I'll probably build another one, or 2. I've got another dirt car in mind, and a couple of others I'm thinking of doing as asphalt cars. One of those is a Gremlin, maybe as a stable mate of the Vega. .z.

TU> Very nice, Dave! I like it a lot.

I have to get cracking on mine, I only have the cage/chassis together and some of the engine built! It's gonna look like a team car to OC's, since I already made the decals before I saw his finished.

I like these *builds*!
