'36 Chevy Modified; Third time was the charm .....

Here's my first real attempt at a modified .................... '60's style .............. Smokey and Curtis together with a '36 Chevy powered by an all aluminum marine version of the porcupine headed 427 Chevy big block

took three times to get this beast painted ;a; ............... and it's not a difficult paint scheme .............. bad batch of clear the first time ............. and "goobers" in the paint the second mm1

AMT/Model King kit ................ MCW paint ............ and 20 year old Fred Cady decals (I knew if I held on to those decals long enough a build would just happen to show up) :lol:

....really an outstanding job on that Mod , O.C. ....great attention to detail . There used to be a similar dirt car , same paint scheme , up in these parts , named " Copper Head " that ran in the 60's . The guy has revamped the car for the street with an older Hemi for power ...331 ci I think .
