Since I have not finished anything in a while, thought maybe posting up some more of my older builds might help get the juices flowing again. Here is a 32 Deuce. Started life as the Monogram (?) Beach Boys Deuce. Took 3 inches out of the top, a first for me. Looked real simple when I started, but when the posts didn't match back up after I cut I about cried. Ended up cutting across the top to stretch it out. Couldn't come up with a flat head in my stash that I liked, so went ahead and used the kit engine. Added plug wires, and used heat shrink tubing/solder for the radiator hoses, and added the radiator braces. Foiled the firewall, added valve stems to the wheels, then used aluminum tubing to make a set of glass packs and the exhaust pipes. Interior is red and white. One of my all time favorite builds, right up there with my Rat Packer. Thanks for looking, and will add the chassis shots when I take them. Thanks for looking.![]() ![]() ![]() Oh yeah, this summer I was going to enter it in a show for the first time. The day before I decided that the wire looms I had on it had to go. Not the smartest plan I have ever come up with. Fortunately I didn't tear anything up too bad! |
