I saw this kit on Clearance for $7.00 and could not pass it up. I appologize to the mustang fans out there, but at least I gave it a cool paint job :D
Mustang II's are actually very good in compact derbies. I folded the hood over to the bumper and added peices of metal to cover the panel gaps, to make it stronger like they do with the real ones.

The start after I gave the body a treatment with a lighter

Now in Black. I combined the kit's V-6 tranny with half of the V-8 block to create my attempt at a Ford 2.3 4 cyl. The pipes are big and ugly, so they will probably go.

Now with some flames. I layed some tape over the front fenders and the doors and then cut them out with an exacto knife. Heres how it looks after I hit it with the spray can.
