Thought this car was scrapped some years ago, but when cleaning up out behind the shop, low and behold....

This was a finished car at one time, but about 20 years ago or so I decided it needed a new look, but this is as far as I got...only thing I did not dismantle was the LF wheel.....various moves over the 20 years took care of that...

Original plan was to abandon the side mounted radiators for a more conventional mounted radiator in front of the engine. Planned to get rid of the wide part of the body for a more "traditional" type tail piece over the fuel tank....Not sure what I was going to do to the nose piece....but you can see how far I got with it.....
Dust and dirt on the car pieces is real from sitting out for quite a spell before stuffing it in a box...

I see potential...
How about cutting down an AMT Duece coupe body into something like an non-Edmunds super of the late 60s/early70s. Should still get the wing put back on top. I agree with moving the radiator to the front. Maybe you could change the cage a little to look like something other than a Grant King?
Richard

If you don't crash once in a while, how do you know you're going as fast as you can?

Richard...
Not sure if I will "play" with the roll cage on this one. Have to see if I can redo the one on my busted up one first...
Not fond of cutting up bodies as I can't seem to cut straight!!! Or measure right!!
