So, not sure if I mentioned it, but for fun I went out and bought a SNES for old time's sake. Happily for myself, I managed to track down a copy of Super Mario RPG: The Legend of the Seven Stars. For those who never played the game - Leave this thread now before I SLAP YOU SILLY. For those who have played the game, join me in relishing in it's amazing and timeless awesomeness. Having played through it again, I still maintain this is one of the best games ever made. Comments? |

i played it for a while, got to the axe-em (or however its spelled) rangers before i stopped for a while (school got busy for a bit) then i just never got back to it for some reason, and now the computer i had it on has died, and im not illegally downloading things for the time being. that said, it was a great game, though i had some trouble with the damned diagonal navigation, i think that could have been fixed. and it would likely have been better if i had been usign an snes controller instead of my keyboard, but it didnt suffer too much from that; most rpgs dont edit: as a side note, we have an official game rating thread, if you feel like doing a slightly more nuanced rating of it |

If I can find a SNES and the cartridge I'll pick it up, otherwise maybe via emulator. |

I have a universal game controller that connects to my laptop via USB. You can pick em' up cheap in some electronics stores and they are great for playing roms of old console games. |
