some of those i just picked based on the name or picture, but some were really hard. the SNES Adventure genre between Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, and Link to the Past was absurdly hard. ad to go with Chrono Trigger in the end. and picking between banjo kazooie and mario 64 was also tough |

I voted Starcraft for two reasons: Better concept art, and it's left a longer impression on the world. I mean, just look at South Korea. |

Better concept art? It was originally designed as W40K game, just as Warcraft was going to be a game based on Warhammer Fantasy, and when the license was lost was simply converted into new IP. Terrans were Space Marines, Zerg were Tyranids and Protos were Eldar. Blizzard got sued. C&C featured original IP, and laid the groundwork for the hilarious Red Alert series. Plus, South Korea is fucked up. |

Better, maybe. Illegal, and infringing on other peoples IP, certainly. |

Everything everyone does or says is plagiarism of something that someone else has already done or said. Usually that 'someone' is The Simpsons. |

Well, for one thing there's a difference between parody/satire/derivative artwork and simply ripping off someone else's IP. Also, I'm not sure how long IP lasts on art - on books it's 50 years after the authors death - but the Mona Lisa is very much in the public domain, while Warhammer is not. There is a difference between plagiarism and doing something someone has already done or said, and to try to equate the two is facetious. |

There's something amusing here about the person who cares most about intellectual property rights being the most socialist. I'm sure he'll be by here any moment to argue that it isn't amusing at all.

Nor the fact that he calls Bush a fascist and yet discredits a source I used because it called a bill fascist. But I digress. Maybe I'll do my voting now. |

You really should. I don't know how much longer voting will be up. The exhibit opens in a few weeks unless the Republicans initiate a government shutdown, in which case it will presumably open whenever the shutdown ends. |
