"Parting is all we know of heaven, And all we need of hell.

It had been awhile since she’d felt so lonely. Regardless, it’d been awhile since she’d seen Jeimuzu, and it hadn’t bothered her much. Or at least, that’s what she told herself. She tried as hard as she could, to no longer think of him, for Erick and her’s relation that is. So why should she feel so lame when he wasn’t around, and become an upbeat person when he was? She had told Erick everything about Jei and her, but she failed to mention her previous fights.

Ophelia awoke in her room, finding Erick next to her, and sleeping humbly. Shirtless in all his glory, as his defined chiseled body was revealed, and pale. She admired him, her eyes tracing over the chiseled lines. It was like an artist, a sculptor of amazing talents had sculpted this man to life, with a face of an angel and a body of a warrior. That was so rare, so new to Ophelia to feel something like this, physical attraction in a bigger magnitude.

He would often stay and sleep over now and then, when he had free time, or when she asked him to. She smiled to herself, and watched him for a second or two, and then turned over, to get his morning things ready, making him breakfast and getting his paperwork and essentials. She shivered in her plain white tanktop and long white flannel pants, baggy and falling off her hips. Her thin body, seemed so fragile as she scurried about in the apartment in total silence. After a good twenty minutes, she yawned, and scuffled her way back to her room, and laid back down, falling into a dream, a dream of memories.

’When will the princess ever learn?’
Ophelia tried as hard as she could, attempting to lift weights. Jei had told her, to work on her speed, but bosses orders was for her to build up. And so, there they were, attempting to do the impossible. She had not much muscle endurance in her upper body, but much in her lower. She had previously ran eight laps. “I cant Jeimuzu” she simply put it.

-The term "bitch slap" is derived from American slang. In the original sense, a "bitch slap" is a powerful, full-swing slap in the face with the front of the hand, evoking the way an angry pimp might slap a defiant prostitute (not to be confused with a "pimp slap" which uses the back of the hand).

The train ride back to Tundara was Solemn and surprisingly Philosophically refreshing. So much had happened in Haven. He had nearly lost his life on several occasions. He felt as a new man. Both mentally and Physically. His arm rested lazily on a light luggage bag in the seat to his right. Across the aisle from him the landscape flew past, The lush forests of Jewel slowly grew thin, and black as the icy grip of Tundara removed this fauna from its ecosystem. The snow demanded with cold rule that each keep to their own niche. Jeimuzu had always had a preference for the plant life of Tundara over Jewel's.

There would be much work to be done when he returned to his office in P.A.R.A.S.O.L. Samples would need to be subjected to testing, synchronized, Garnered, applied, and studied. There were several samples he had obtained which drew his attention the most, including the life-sustaining blood of the immortal human, or "Icarus" as he called himself, and the life-sparking blood of the living dead from Slawm. Perhaps used in tandem, each would negate the others negative effects and leave only the bonuses. It would be a long shot but Jeimuzu was always a man for long shots.

The train steamed to a stop. A small buzzer from a box, which was known for emitting nothing but static when the conductor attempted communication, rang out, letting the passengers know that they had arrived at the final stop in the train's circuit. After gathering all of his own belongings, Jeimuzu stepped off the train, accidentally bumping into several other passengers in their mad rush for the bathroom stalls. Jeimuzu laughed audibly at their distressed stomachs. He had always known to not trust any type of dish served in public places.

Minute clouds of fog rolled past Jeimuzu as he made his way across the train station. Soon he emerged onto the chilly street. A long black limousine awaited him parked on the curb across the street. Once comfortable and warm, Jeimuzu ordered the driver to take to a certain girl's house before taking him home.

The large apartment building loomed hungrily over him. The steel gate coiled up near the front entrance forebode ominously against him. In the lobby, the pressurized air gave him additional alleviation from the biting weather of Tundara. He left his bags with an attendant below and boarded the elevator for the third floor. Pressure welled up in Jeimuzu's gut as the steel box moved higher and higher. 'I wonder how she'll receive me, What will happen? Will she be offended by my presence? Will she be glad to see me? Surprised? I DID tell her I would come back for her. I guess it will all unfold to me soon...' The doors slid open.

His heart pounded in anxiety as he strode down the hallway. Doors slithered to his left and right as Jeimuzu made his way to the final door in the hallway. The door grew in power and presence as he neared it. Cautiously, Unhesitatingly, he lifted his fist to crack several knocks on the old-fashioned wood door.

"Strength, Courage, Perseverance. These are what make a warrior.
Vanity, Notoriety, Piety. These are what make a princess.
The choice is yours, young one."

Jeimuzu laughed quietly to himself, as a man laughs when he watches a child attempt to use a fork properly. "No, Ophelia. Not like that" He smiled, walking around to her back. "Straighten your back, And lift with your shoulders, you'll never get those weights up with your butt." He said firmly pressing the small of her jutting backside.

Erick's lavender eyes shot open as soon as Ophelia stirred in her sleep and began waking. But he preferred to let her think she hadn't woken him. He closed his eyes and continued his steady breathing as he would when asleep, silent and slow. Her attention focused on him, evaluating himself. It was moments like this that Erick felt he controlled her most, when she was captivated by him. But moments of reverie always ended and brought about a lack of emotion, and suddenly the gap in Ophelia's mind was filled with remembrances of Jeimuzu, her previous lover. Erick was still unsure how to dissolve her apprehensions, and so through time and trial he would have to figure it out. The smell of breakfast filled the air, and shuffling papers could be heard. Ophelia would have Erick's routine ready by the time he got up, and she would go back to sleep. He didn't necessarily have to go in to work today, and figured he'd just stay home with his woman.

His body became restless, so he turned onto his side. Erick rarely pulled the covers over himself, his body being accustomed to the temperature. As soon as Ophelia had laid back down and fallen asleep, Erick kissed her lightly, stroking her hair. Despite his previous intentions, he'd grown somewhat fond of this emotional roller-coaster of a female. But he knew it would be impossible for them to even have children, just one of many reminders of how different she was from him. But perhaps that could be changed. Erick would look into this later. "Sleep young one.."

Erick rose and dressed himself in a white t-shirt and some black shorts, walking into the kitchen and scarfing down his food. "Someone is coming..a catalyst.."

Another presence filled the air, different from the neighbors of the other apartment rooms. The memories and thoughts mingled and almost streamlined in a similar form. Erick had met this man before. And now as he walked down the bright hallway towards Ophelia's home, Erick immediately associated this man as Jeimuzu. His presence would most likely be a nuisance if anything. "Yep, I think I'll stay home.." Erick was behind the door just as it knocked, and waited a moment before opening it and staring quietly at the man..lizard...thing. It was hard to believe anyone could see something in such a being, but to each their own.

Erick's voice betrayed no thoughts in it as he stood in the doorway. "Can I help you?"

The woman had them visions again, nien, premonitions. Her heart accelerated, and her soft whimpers were muffled with the pillow she had been clutching firmly. Her body wrapped around it, as she huddled into a little ball, her breath caught short. She imagined many things. Today would be a car crash, today Erick might face danger, today today today!- Something stopped it all, as she was frozen in one vision. A large dark shadow stood behind her, breathing deeply, something that sounded like a thump-no a knock?

Ophelia tossed to one side, and without the comfort of feeling Erick there, quickly fluttered her eyes open. She gazed around the room, and realized Erick had already gotten up. Maybe she could catch him right before he left, he should be eating at the moment, going through some paperwork. Had she left the right ones there? She knew she had, and with that confirmation, she stood up, yawning lightly. Her hair was straight and tousled around, and well, she needed to fix it. Walking into the bathroom, she shuffled, and grabbed a brush, brushing her hair and her teeth. Grabbing the avon essentials of a clean face, she dried her heavenly face and stepped out, her long blonde hair trailing behind her. Her white tank top, revealed a tad too much, as she pushed it back up, revealing her midriff and those damn pants on the verge of falling off.

She walked over towards Erick, now realizing he was at the door, actually staring at Erick, until she wrapped her arms around his arm, “Good morning Erick. Is your business partner here no-”she stopped in sentence as she looked up and noticed those familiar features. It took her a minute to catch up to reality as her mind raced, and her eyes widened. ’It is him- He is here-he was serious-he-Jeimuzu….what am I going to do? Should I invite him in? What about Erick-What does he think? Is he okay? Is it awkward for him?’ she shook her head only a fraction of an inch, and breathed in, feeling as if she’d been strangled. “A-Ah….hello Jeimuzu.” She finally said.

Jeimuzu furrowed his brows in confusion, his mouth hanging open a bit. This man was very familiar, one of his co-pilots lackeys from Ta'Ra. But this is not where Jeimuzu immediately remembered him from, 'He's running for Councilman, what the hell is he doing in such a shit bag neighborhood?' He thought, frozen in place before the door. "Excuse me, I must have the wrong adr-" He was cut off as Ophelia emerged from behind him, completely oblivious to Jeimuzu's presence, embracing Erick from behind in a swooning hug.

It felt as if Erick had just knocked the wind out of him. His heart twisted in suffocation, skipping beats and crashing with confusion. His mind went completely blank, all minds and processes halted while he stood staring. His jaw slowly gaped open as he stared at the two in frozen engrossment. A wave life passed over him. His eyelids shuttered with renewed energy, reengaging his brain. It all struck him within an instant. The wave settled, morphing its cruel fixture into a blanket of irony. He cracked with a strange mix of emotions, feeling as if he would go insane. Then he laughed.

He laughed, and laughed, and laughed. He laughed harder than he had ever laughed before in his entire life, falling onto the hallway wall with one elbow for support as the other clutched at his rupturing stomach. "Ha Ha! You?-" He said pointing at Ophelia, a tear spawned of comic rolling down his cheek, "And him? Ha Ha Ha!" His grip on the wall loosened as his body lopsidedly fell over onto the carpet, where he clutched his stomach with both hands, rolling left and right. "That's just too rich! Too rich!" He sputtered, "You're dating him?" He said with incredulity "This guy makes Skeletor feel young! Dahahaha! I've heard of sugar daddies, but never of Primordial soup daddies- I think your walker is double-parked outside! He's so old, his back goes out more than he does. He's so old that when the Big Bang occurred, he yelled, What the hell was that!?'" Still laughing, he pushed himself off the ground, "It sure didn't take you very long to get over me, Ophelia- But then again this guy's expiration date was just around the corner, huh? You two make a cute couple, You're like beef jerky and guacamole. Hahaha."

His laughing turned to breaths of suffocation, "Oh-" He fell back against the wall, his laughter slowing, "Oh, man," He rasped, now breathless. "Aho, A hee." Jeimuzu rubbed the tears from his eyes and straightened himself out. "Oh, thank you, I really needed that laugh..." He drifted on, "But down to business, I came to let you know that I feel that I now hold the solution to all of our problems around P.E.S.T.I.L.E.N.C.E. With what I hold we will be the ones in control of this planet, not this stubborn virus."

The old dragon grew cold as his princess climbed to the heavens.

She grasped the rope, climbing up higher and higher. Jeimuzu squirmed on the arena floor, the gasses closing in on him. He had to shield his eyes from the spot light which shone just above the pit, illuminating Sun in brazen

Erick's face retained it's original form despite the onslaught of age-aimed insults thrown his way. And yet despite all that was said, at four hundred and forty three he still looked better than Jeimuzu. So when the lizard-man insulted him with a myriad of conjectures, observations, and jeer-inducing humor, Erick took it the way he would take anything else. Usually. He continued to stand like a statue in the same position he was in when he had opened the door, noting Ophelia's presence just next to him. After all his old age, he still had the girl, the looks, the genius needed to work for the Grand Council. Jeimuzu was small time. But none of this had to be voiced per say. Erick would give credit where credit was due; an eye for an eye.

But before the war of the minds could be placed, Erick felt something more primal in the back of his mind. A feral clicking sound that he associated with the ticking of the mind, though no thoughts flowed. Aggression reigned supreme here in this void. It was where Erick drew all his anger and passion from, all aggressive and hateful nature. Though this was mostly in reality, just the Hive Queen's insectoid self.

His pale leg shot outward in a half-sprung kick that would make Leonidas cream his beefy self and bashed Jeimuzu in the chest, knocked him backward from his hysterically poor footing and onto the ground. The apartment door closed shut. But not before Erick had his say. "THIS IS TUNDARAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA." The deed was done. Erick took a long deep breath, more of a sigh really.

He turned to Ophelia, the girl who grew on his lonesome being every day he made time to spend with her. Thoughts of the future flooded his mind, the next twenty years or so as that was a short time for him. But it was a long time to develop a relationship as far as a human was concerned, too much could happen too fast for his patient nature. And then he was back to the task at hand.

Staring deeply into her bewildered face, he leaned in with one arm grasped around her dainty yet womanly hips, the other hand resting on the door knob. Erick's face closed in for a long, lingering kiss of the passionate sort, while his free hand opened the door. Out of the corner of his eye he winked towards the mutant-scientist, going for some tongue for effect. His mouth released from her's in a slow motion, accentuating the whole ordeal.

"She doesn't seem to mind too much. By the way..where's your tail? I mean, I managed to look fine after all this time..and yet you managed to screw up your body within the first portion of your life. Bad mistake on your part neh?"

The loner sits quietly in the rain, pondering the meaning behind it all, even his pondering. He has no past to make a catchy looking recollection with. So he sits and thinks, and does so with a fancy font.

Ophelia watched him make fun of her boyfriend, and took it all in, in a way, sort of glad he was back, and a bit taken a back from what he said, and the more he spoke, the angrier she sort of felt. But her true emotion was deffinately shame and depressed. She withdrew into herself, searching for something to say as she took a step back from Erick, and watched him, his face never changing, and Jeimuzu's only growing more and more hysterical. Bright blue eyes slowly dimmed as she looked down at the ground, until he pointed at her, she looked quite shocked. Why? was the only question that lingered in her head. As remorse and upset fury took place on her face.

It wasnt until he stopped, that she opened her mouth, only to find Erick's leg shoot out and strike at her former flame. She was about to reach out to him before the door shut, and in a fury of madness, Erick swung his attention to her, pulling her forward and developed the most passionate kiss she'd ever experience in her lifetime. She looked bewildered alright as he touched her, his fingers etching a mark on her skin, scorching with passion. She was red in the face when he went in for some tounge action, her eyes widening, and then closing as she whimpered a moan of surprise.

'What is he doing ?! Is he insane ?! I've never seen him act this way before, since when did he want to do this ?! He never shows me affection- is this for Jeimuzu? Should I talk to him? I really should talk to him. Although.....this side of Erick is pretty....sexy.' she was in a struggle for words, and a tangle in thoughts, so Ophelia simply went with the flow, and when he pulled back, she noticed the door was open. And Jeimuzu's face, was on her. She could feel the hurt that he felt, and she could deffinately feel the betrayal.

"Jeimuzu...." she began, and only found nothing to say. Well, of course there were some things she wanted to say, but Erick wouldnt approve. And she didnt love Erick, but she really really REALLY liked/adored him a lot. It'd been a while, that the two joined forces. She looked over to Erick, and the look on her face said it all. 'How could you do that to him? Dont you think that was a bit harsh, I think you're really sexy right now.'

She cleared her throat and sighed softly. "Jeimuzu, we need to talk, and-" something hit her, and she fell forward, towards the door frame, as she was plauged with something. Of course, the two men would have accustomed themselves already, knowing that whenever she lunged forward in a vision, it wasnt quite the vision, but a premonition. She felt the heat around her, and felt like her body was burning, even though it wasnt, and didnt look like it.

Her temperature soared, well over from 97 to 104, and she clinged onto the door frame. She knew a little boy was going to get burned to death, and she couldnt do anything. Mainly because she didnt know where, it was so mysterious, and just as quick as it came, it left, leaving her without information and without a clue. Not literally of course.

Coming to her senses, she realized the two men were still here, and looking at either her or each other. She could feel some hatred, and why shouldnt they? Or why should they? It was something they'd have to work out together, not something as easy to do as one might think. Erick had found her in her time of need, and taken advantage of her. Jeimuzu and her had a reputation of leaving for a good few years and coming back. She didnt feel like he would've came back for her. She knew how much he loved his work and his studies. Would he really give that all up for a woman?

She remembered every word they'd said. Jeimuzu had taken care of her, made her feel strong and made her feel weak, made her feel safe and always there, until about six-seven years ago. And thats why she resigned herself to Erick so easily, because Erick had attacked her from inside, and made her feel wanted. Made her feel safe, secure and loved. A little turned on as well, just- she didnt know what that feeling was called~

So what was she going to do? She looked downwards, as she submissioned into Erick's will, but something in her mind clicked and told her to do what she wanted to do. She stepped out, onto the hallway, after jolting past them, and zipped away to the balcony, where there was a patio and a garden. Angered by her own self, she didnt want to talk to anyone quite yet, but she did let the tears fall.

The range of his breach from patience and calmness had extended to far, As funny as it was to Jeimuzu, he felt it had struck something within either of the two. He felt a pang of regret rasp through his insides, though only briefly as thoughts of neutrality took hold of him. The three stood there in a quiet stalemate for a moment of dead time. He had instigated an unneeded response from either member; What had been intended as a joyful reunion and sweep of relief had immediately turned into a tense standoff.

In a display of feral masculinity, Erick lifted a pale leg and shoved it into Jeimuzu's hardened stomach. He fell back and landed on his rear, caught off guard by the sudden display of energy in the weening hours of twilit morning. His mind fluttered in nostalgia at the ancient reference Erick had made, for a time, he respected this man, but only for a time. Which isn't that long of a time.

He leaned in and in a further display of his dominance, Planted a smooch on his lady that would make cupid blush. Jeimuzu was quietly amused by Erick's smugness, After all, Jeimuzu had received a six figure payment from this man for one: taking a unscheduled vacation to the south, two: Eating a delicacy in a local dinner, three: getting drunk in cowboy towns. He pushed himself off of the carpet, smirking to himself.

It was the ushered response from not Erick, but from Ophelia that rang through him as a resounding powder keg. The flare of emotions had caused her to flop to the ground, hyperventilating and sweating from a sudden increase in heat. Her body a physical manifestation of her vision, depicted heat. As she pulled herself to her feet, a grumble of discomfort echoed in his intestines, Jeimuzu's face writhed and contorted, Easily mistaken as a look of hate. One arm clutched his gut in a paralyzing pain as a silent gas was released from his rear. He sighed in relief, A faint smile moving to his face.

Jeimuzu was uncertain of the implications of her vision, And was further uncertain as she bolted into the recesses of her apartment. He felt as if his presence had disrupted the natural tranquility of her sanctuary. It would be ungentlemanly of him to stay, but it would be rude for him to leave her with Sexy McHot bod when the entire problem had been erupted by Jeimuzu. He had always taken care of Ophelia, attempting to guide her towards a light future. Though recklessly in his teachings of never surrendering and smiting thoughts of 'loss' and 'emotion' The bottled feelings had back lashed in horrible repercussions right back in his face. He had treated her as a warrior when he should have looked at her for what she ultimately was, a Woman.

All the suppression of her angst and teenage emotions were through fault completely because of Jeimuzu. Because of all the repressed feelings he had permanently damaged her, he felt, possibly ruining or draining any remnants of strength she would have ever contrived.

In truth, such were his only remaining ties to Ophelia- Those of responsibility and protection. In his mind, When something was done, it was done. Including the 'relationship' the two shared in the past. She deserved better treatment that what he was providing for her. And if Erick could provide that for her, all jokes aside, he was more than happy for her.

Jeimuzu stared at Erick as she fled the scene, "Look what you did! Now she's upset." He shouted, purposely ironic. "Listen, boss man-" Jeimuzu said, getting straight to the heart of the matter, "I've got some important information, which I was originally going to share with simply Ophelia, but your presence here makes it less of a hassle for me, Mr.Councilman. Now, Go tend to her and put some clothes on so I can share this information.

The boss stared at the two fighters with a primeval complacency, His gluttony knew no bounds.

'Fight.' He would say.
Fight the two did.
'Again!' He would shout.
Victory the two claimed still.
'Why don't you two die?!' He would scream.
Slaughtered foes dropped before the two unstoppable champions.

And now, after dozens of slain giants, monsters, thieves, and villains alike, The two found their greatest foes in their own selves...

Erick gave the mental equivalent of a smirk, though it didn't show on his dispassionate face, just as nothing did. He was like a sand garden, calm and simple, yet beautiful in it's own sense. Jeimuzu ran over his frivolous spending of the six-figured payment that had been signed onto his name when he had joined P.A.R.A.S.O.L. But what he hadn't noticed was that the cheque had been signed on as research funds for his specific department, and it was to be divided among all of his group, his underlings and himself. With the irresponsible spending of the funds, Cylias' I.R.S. would be breathing down his back for the next few months until he sorted out the return for the amount of funds he had spent. Along with Jeimuzu's gastric discomfort, Erick was certain he would have the last laugh. Too bad he didn't laugh, he was too busy kicking your ass in the chest and owning you financially.

OOC: They totally took my blood!

And yet despite the slight triumph, Erick was immediately dissatisfied as his Princess fell in on herself in a wave of heat and thought. A young child would die, no different from any other time. Thousands of people die within a given day without anyone knowing, so why should it be so much worse if another insubstantial person dies in the eyes of another?

Perplexion followed by worry was his immediate reaction, although it never showed on his face. He wondered what Jeimuzu found of his un-animated nature, if anything. The lizard was a relatively vibrant person, though unexpressed, in many ways a polar opposite of Erick. He was sure their relationship had to have been born of some sort of emotional necessity while under the watch of "Boss". How else could Ophelia find solace within two completely and radically different people?

Though all this was going on in Erick's head, he didn't really notice it persay. Multiple trains of thought often ran through his mind in millisecond speeds while performing other tasks. He ushered in the sudden guest with a hurried manner, merely pointing into the dwelling at the couch that was within sight of the door and sighing as he followed Ophelia into the home with the speed and lithe grace only someone almost inhuman could achieve. Perhaps that was what Ophelia saw in Erick, not just the way he pampered her emotions to the best of his nature, but that he was different. Something other than mundane. Just like her life. Ophelia responded to people with some of the most complex yet simple ways known to man, relation in emotion.

The wind was at his face within seconds, Erick's arm cradled the woman's almost weak frame, ready to contend with anything that might bother her even minorly. "Neh..there's no need to cry. What's wrong?" He let the harmless words sink in for a moment, the kind of sentence nobody ever really responded to. But it was the start to the ensuing conversation. "Should it be..uncomfortable, for you to have that man around, I could quite easily ask him to leave. But I have a feeling you don't want that. So just do what you want, I'll stand by any decision you could make. Ask and you shall receive." Erick leaned around her carefully, still supporting her body on one side, and cleared the tiny water droplets from Ophelia's face with the light tip of his pale finger. He tasted them..salty. He leaned in a pecked her on the cheek before walking back into the house to the entrance-room.

He said out loud with his eyes closed as he sank into a chair opposite the couch, not even bothering to look if Jeimuzu was there, and so he raised his tone; "So, what was it you wanted to speak about, Mr. Brouge."

And so it was that another paragraph was formed, another bound leaped, another chicken clucked. The man sat alone still, thinking about why he was thinking about thinking of thinking about thinking. It didn't make sense. Or did it? He would have to think about thinking about it. With more fancy font...and cheerios.

(GRRRR, XD)
Ophelia’s light eyes glanced outwards, until being reeled back by Erick, he kissed her lightly on the cheek, and told her to not epic fails. Basically. She looked down at her stomach, Wonder what babies feel like… and then she quickly regained posture, and left forwards, following after him like a lost little pup. She wandered around, getting lost for a minute, and then following Erick once again. She may have lived here, but she didn’t know her way too well around here. She’d never bolted out like that in her own home.

attack list
COOK<<<
CLEAN
CRY FOR NOTHING
PMS-(this is a combination technique- it includes "crying for nothing, complaining, annoying men, being a bitch, feeling fat and eating too much.)

Regardless of a horrible neighborhood, Ophelia’s apartment was very clean, and neat, no signs of wear or tear. Perfect really. Even includes a scent of vanilla and orange. She walked in, and assumed her duties as a woman, and moved to her combat area, the kitchen. She placed on her combat gear which consisted of an apron and a hair tie, and grabbed her mortal kombat weapons, a wooden spoon, and a pot. She then conducted to make Jei’z “favorite” food.

attack list
COOK
CLEAN<<<
CRY FOR NOTHING
PMS-(this is a combination technique- it includes "crying for nothing, complaining, annoying men, being a bitch, feeling fat and eating too much.)

Ophelia's battle was now changed. It'd become a new challenge against the evil dust bunnies and roaming left overs. She maneuvered herself sideways, spraying the acidic Windex on her windows, and wiping them off with her trusty shield, the towel. She leaped over to the kitchen, and grabbed her close-range weapon, the duster and began to twirl her hands, in epic skills only a woman could use, because it was such senseless knowledge. Then again, that was what a woman was. Senseless.

Continuing her only attack choices (since the others would deduct points), she proceeded to clean up the remaining, because the cooking was waiting. She tidied around, and looked at Jeimuzu occasionally with those eyes of hers that made the old flame a cautionary third degree burn. She looked down every time she felt Erick staring. I cant…stop thinking about you Jeimuzu, now that you’re here- I-I- I do not know what I am going to do…Erick, Jeimuzu-oh the food is ready.

She had made food for Jei and Erick, completely different dishes, and she moved further and set them on the plate, trying to decide whether or not she’d take a seat next to Erick or Jei. She stumbled a bit, and finally sat at the ground, in between them, by the table, like the Japanese do when they eat because they think they’re too cool for chairs, but not cool enough for those video games. How did they actually get so skinny? All they do is karaoke, yell ‘UNACCEPTABLE’ on phones and coworkers and play video games….it must be those crowded buses that suck in your figure…yeah….

Her attention went back to Jeimuzu, and hardly on Erick, and noticing that, she looked back at Erick with a weak smile, not assuring at all. She was restless, and her foot was tapping noiselessly on the wooden floor as her expression held it all. CRAP.

Jeimuzu stuffed his hands into his coat pockets, casually walking into Ophelia's living room. Only several weeks before she and himself were putting to rest whatever tedious issues roused themselves. "I like what you've done with the place, Sun." He said inattentively; A sarcastic remark in accordance to the completely unaltered room. The plush carpet folded around his bare feet, dotting his scaly callouses with pressure points of comfort. Portraits flowers and other trinkets of interested warmed the room, cloaking the chaotic girl's house with a cheerful aura. A pleasant mixture of blues and whites alleviated his eyes as he scanned the room. The door clicked to a shut as he pressed on the cryptic redwood--Technically 'Bluewood' but Jeimuzu had a testy knack for referring to most items on Cylias with an Earthly comparison.

ooc: DEY TOOK YER BLUD!

"I'm sorry-- I mean Ophelia.." He corrected himself, shaking his head with a smirk. At the time being Ophelia and Erick were too engrossed with another outside on the balcony. Certain he wasn't heard, he took several more casual steps into the room. He watched the couple on the balcony tentatively, After Erick had whispered into her ear, wiped and...eaten...the tears from her cheeks she immediately sprang away from him and moved to the kitchen. 'You like her putting her into a place she doesn't belong, I see..' He thought to himself with acrid taste as Erick made his way towards the lizard man who had by this time seated himself comfortably on the recliner.

Jeimuzu checked over Erick's shoulder to ensure Ophelia still busied herself in the kitchen. In a low hushed tone he said "Erick. Boss man. Abcrunch Leanbod. Whatever you want to be called; I'm very much relieved that you're with Ophelia. I let you know now that any harbored feelings of love have been expelled and left in Haven. I feel what she and I had was...Circumstantial. Though it pained me dearly to lose her as a love, I still have her as my friend. And for your own sake, I do hope you keep dearly good care of her." Hinting subtly with a dark tone of his intended repercussions.

He leaned back and smiled at Ophelia as she entered the room with two plates of food. He was slightly distraught when she told him one plate was for him, "No, Thank you," He whispered to Ophelia pushing the plate away from him, "I've got a bit of an...angry? Stomach." He turned his focus now to both members, clapping his hands together in anticipation, "Well then, Where to start?" He stood from the couch and retold the concurrent of the last several weeks, pausing between each individual outing. He began first with his encounter with the ruthless undead, his own near death in Outpost 12, his meetings with two different citizens of Core, and finally the tournament he enlisted in. "But luckily, My fighting husk was only a clone of myself, and I myself was unharmed. Though I can't speak for the decapitated body of my counterpart..."

"What I have garnered from the travels is a concoction with great potential; Using the blood of the Icarus, I believe I will be able to extract the regenerative properties of his genome code. The boy was, as I explained earlier, Without Age. This phenomenon was, after much study, possible due to a lowered metabolism and increased cell reproduction rate. All old cells were immediately replaced, even those of the brain," He added at the end, thinking Erick would take particular interest in that subject matter. "Essentially he grew to his fully matured body and never aged a day over it."

At this point he had stood up and began pacing the room, Expressing his talk with body motion, energy, focus, and passion. He was reeling back into a logical state, a bright off turn of his militaristic state from the past weeks of battle. He felt comfortable talking about such topics. If fighting was in his blood, then surely Science was his soul. He paused for a moment, Standing behind the sofa. He formed his two primary fingers on either hand into a triangle, Articulating his thoughts for a moment into the most concise explanation he could conjure.

"Also garnered was a potent virus, developed by a back-water Scientist in Haven. What intrigues me of this virus is its ability to bind with the host, as well as the metabolic boost it gives to the host. I believe that with this virus, once reconstructed that is, it will help with the husbandry of P.E.S.T.I.L.E.N.C.E. with all foreign life to Cylias. It will essentially program our own immune systems to allow P.E.S.T.I.L.E.N.C.E. into our systems unharmed. Once both the viruses have taken affect within our body, The blood of the Icarus will prevent the deterioration of the body that is so common with the disease. I feel with these two keys I will void any need for vaccination and any silly fears of this virus." He paused once more, Turning to Erick and Ophelia.

"For too long has Cylias cowered under P.E.S.T.I.L.E.N.C.E. and the Mag'Yal. I plan immediately to begin work on this counter-virus."

What Jeimuzu had not mentioned was the other virus he was breeding. One that would effectively kill the Mag'Yal and all remnants of them. Such thoughts were no where near his current train of thoughts.

He rested two claws on the back of the sofa, "I do believe that is all I had to report, good sir and madame."

He grinned with a false smile at Erick, turning to Ophelia he said, "Erick, if you don't mind, I'd like to have a private word with Ophelia on the balcony-- Ophelia?" He said gesturing to the balcony, walking towards it without a reply from either.

For years the dragon slumbered, a husking shell of its former self. Broken and Scarred he receded from the world; Wishing the crooked bastards all a raging inferno in the grave.

The young woman could no longer contain herself. But as she was about to get up, Jeimuzu summoned her. She nodded accordingly, and followed through, before stopping. "I wont be long...I hope." she said, kissing Erick gently on his angelic lips, and hurrying off, as she wandered about, stumbling after Jeimuzu, he had already gotten there. She stood there awkwardly, not sure where to put her hands, or how to stand or what to say.

Many thoughts configured in her head, and she was lost for words. Her eyes met his, finally, before she moved past him, and spread her arms on the railing of the balcony. She watched as the community wasnt as bad as some described. It held much character, not much theft, and cleanly. Or at least in the gated parts of her condiminium. She looked towards her left shoulder, as he was behind her, not sure how far, so she wanted to just check.

What words would she form for him? What words did he want to ask her? And why? A lot of thoughts wandered through her head, and her wavyish blonde locks which blew in the gentle breeze, her bright eyes seemed tortured. She was cold. But she wouldnt admit it. She looked over at him now, not fully, but her head turned mostly. "What is it?" she asked him, gently, guarded as she loosely held onto the railing. Waiting for an answer.

He stood calmly as she made herself comfortable on the railing. By the awkwardness and placing of her hands she seemed unsure around Jeimuzu now, it made him feel distant to her, indeed a rift had reared itself between the two during his leave of absence. Jeimuzu himself crossed his thick arms over his chest, eliminating his hands from the equation. He leaned sideways against the railing, with his waist, looking at Ophelia.

"The reason I brought you out here was not to bore you as I did in that room; I just want reassurance that you know what you're getting yourself into with his ilk. Love is love and there is nothing no mortal in the universe may do to persuade it, but I see the way you too look at each other-- Hungry, and lustful." He said it with as soft and unoffensive connotation as possible, "Two weeks ago when we," He cleared his throat, "Set out to different paths, I myself felt a burning pain deep inside me, if not for my own control I surely would have sought the comforts of another women almost immediately- Do not take me wrong, for I have no mean to imply the same to your situation, but just know that I am in the same boat as you and I simply wish to stave you from any...rash decisions." He untwisted his arms and leaned in close so that only she would hear, "This man, this 'Fox' as the media calls him; His people live for countless eons- He himself is a very intelligent man, and I say this out of a scientific view when I say to you that I believe he holds no close ties to you, and would not attach himself, seeing as you would perish much sooner before he. You must remember that he is a man nevertheless..." He trailed off from his train of thought, feeling that that would not illicit his point.

Casting aside subtlety for raw thoughts he said to her, "Please, Ophelia, if not for yourself, then for me, Keep your eyes on him; It would hurt me ten folds over to see you used by this man."

She listened to him, and looked away, briefly though, and caught his eyes again. She missed him dearly. And it seems she couldnt remember what she had done to tango her way into Erick's life. "Jeimuzu, I speak as a woman. (lol.) I do not love this man. Nor do I have any intentions to have children, there is nothing to worry about. He is my cast, and he is very kind to me. I could not thank him more for all that he has done. I adore him, more than like, and I love having him around, when he is. He does not use me, he simply treats me well is how I can put it." she said looking away now, and then back at him.

Was she so blind that she could not realize her own faults? Would she turn out to be her own tragic hero, or will Erick destroy her first? Ophelia's blonde hair picked up in the wind, and her slender body trembled only slightly, not noticable. And she wanted to stay here, so she tried her best to not show it. "So, when shall you 'return to normal' again?" she said with a hesitant smile. "You told me, 'When I return to my old self, I shall seek you out' or something along the sort. Not that I mind your visit." she said, a real smile forming on her lips now. What a sweetheart.

Her hands clutched the railings, and she watched the apartment for a moment, far away, unable to really decipher what was what. Her blue eyes now met Jei's again, and she giggled, punching him. "You know, I havent visted my parents. Havent wanted to either." she said, her accent accentuating the word 'either'. It was true though, she didnt want to see the faces. Her new mother, which she hadnt met, and her old lovable father, whom she hadnt seen in ages.
