| Welcome to Pokemon Adventures! You are currently viewing the forum as a guest. If you're thinking of joining, I feel the need to note that this is a discussion forum, and not some kind of online Pokemon game (as awesome as that would be). We get tons of members getting this confused, and we certainly wouldn't want to waste your time if this place isn't what you were looking for. You might also find that the activity level is rather low around here. This is mostly due to lack of new members that stick around. I'm sure if we had a few more, all the many members would eventually come out of hiding. Why not sign up and stay for a while. Who knows? You may be surprised. Click here to join! |

You know the bottom pic right? The extremely famous Flag Raising Over Iwo Jima. WWII. US Marines were doing it. In Japan. And a guy captured the moment. It wasn't very long. Nor ceremonious. Just the pic was taken at the right time and it looks amazing. Its also extremely symbolic. The same thing happened with the first pic, except that one was during 9/11. Its symbolic. And so awesome. The connection is pretty sweet. |

I have a friend who's related to one of those men in the original picture. According to him several of those men died. |

Like Jacob said, the first image in Saya's first post is booched, but if you meant the first picture in Saya's second post, that's a statue depicting the famous picture(the broken one in the first post) that was taken at the site of the Twin Towers. And yes, that is really awsome. They are, in a way, so similar. |

I don't want to start a debate, but the difference I see between the two is that one group have to go through another heck while the firefighters have to dig up bodies, which could be like heck... I guess... L| |
