(Well, actually, if you recall, Phase Out makes it so all attacks miss... L| ) Kor's Duskull appeared behind Gastly. "Gastly!" I shouted, even though I wasn't looking yet somehow knew what was happening. Just as it was about to use Shadow Pierce, Growlithe tackled the Duskull out of the way. "Wow, thank's Growlithe!" I said with a sigh of relief. "Gastly! While it's distracted, use Shadow Ball!" Gastly, still in immense pain still somehow managed to charge up a Shadow Ball, in which was fired at point-blank range on Duskull. Duskull was KO'd... again. At that moment, Gastly fell to the ground, KO'd by the Curse. "Yay! We did it! Now it's time for me to catch..." just as I was about to finish that sentence, Kor had already got his Pokeball back and was standing next to the still frozen Sprockle. "Too late!" Kor said as he slammed the Pokeball harshly into Sprockle's head, shattering the ice surrounding it. I couldn't believe it. All that work for nothing... ...or so I thought. The Pokeball simply bounced off of Sprockle and fell to the ground. "What in the world?" Kor said in disbelief, "Hmm, this Sprockle must not be the right one, this one belongs to a trainer already. Ha, sucks for you Cor, looks like niether of us get this Sprockle. I'm out of here, I've wasted enough time with you losers already." With that, Kor called back his KO'd Pokemon, and ran off. "Lets hope we don't see him again any time soon." I sighed. I was still baffled though. If that Sprockle belongs to a trainer, then why did it seem to want to join me? Where is it's trainer? Was whoever it is responcible for saving me from that cell in the power plant? Argh, too many unknowns... The Sprockle then wobbled it's way over to me. This time, I looked a little closer. There was something odd about this Sprockle. It seemed to have some sort of compartment thing on it's back. The Sprockle turned around and faced the compartment towards me. I then opened the latch and peaked inside. Inside, there was a Pokeball, a note, and some disk thing. I had no clue what they were. I read the note: Dear whoever finds this Sprockle, I don't have time to write down the whole story, but please keep this Sprockle and this data disk safe at all costs. The Pokeball here is Sprockle's. Please take good care of it. I will meet back up with this Sprockle when the time is right. Signed: Beta I showed the note to Taz and Nor. They had no idea what it could mean. Either way, um, I guess I caught a Sprockle. L| "It seems our little chase with Kor got us right outside Violet City," I remarked, "You guys ready for a gym badge?"

I am typing up a post right now, but I wanted to post this real quick. Andy, I don't know if you thought of this when you chose Gastly's Rival, but Dskull now has 3 stages as well, so now rthey both have 3 stages. Anyway, on to my post: "Hey guys, I am gonna train a bit real quick before we go to the gym, ok." I said to Taz and Cor. "Ok" Taz and Cor said. "Ok, I will catch up with you guys soon, I just wanna train Sneasel and Sonicog a bit." I said as I walked into the grass. As soon as I stepped into the grass, I was attacked by a Hoot-Hoot. "Perfect, HootHoot is weak of Ice. Go Sneasel." I yelled. "Sne!" Sneasel screached as he came into bsttle. "Sneasel, use Ice Blow." I said. The Ice Blow hit HootHoot and it fainted. "Wow, that was a little too easy." I said in confusion. The next thing we knew a Giant Noctowl came out of the trees. It turned out that the HootHoot was a baby. "Uh oh, this is bad. Sonicog, join Sneasel." I said as I thru Sonicog's ball. Sonicog and Sneasel both fired an Ice Blow at Noctowl. The Ice Blows hit it hard. Unfortunately, Noctowl just shrugged it off. "Guys, use your strongest Ice Blow." I yelled. They both fired there strongest Ice Blow's at Noctowl. It was frozen solid...oh, wait...no it wasn't. Just its wing was. It then just shrugged and broke the ice. "Dang, this thing is just too powerful. What am I gonna do?" I said to myself. "Guys, use another Ice Blow." I yelled in repitition. Just as they fired an Ice Blow at the Noctowl, a little cat thing jumped out of the bushes and bit the Noctowl with a powerful 'shocking' (lol) Thunder Fang attack. "Yes, that was awesome, but where did it come from." I said about the cute little Cat/Mouse thing that bit the Noctowl. Now the Noctowl was angry. She started glowing. "Oh man, she's charging up a Sky Attack. " i yelled in fear. Just then, the cat jumped and bit the owl again with another powerful Thunder Fang. The Noctowl fainted. I pulled out my pokedex to see what the cat was. I found out it is a Korinku. As I figured this out, the Korinku then jumped up and knocked me over, knocking a pokeball out of my bag. It then started sniffing it. "You wanna come with me?" I asked it as I picked up my pokeball. "Ko" It cried as it ran toward the ball and jumped in. "Ok, I guess I caught a Korinku...sweet." I said as I recalled Sneasael and Sonicog and ran toward the Pokemon Center to find Taz and Cor. ((Oops ))I stared with interested at the note. He'll 'meet back up with the Sprockle when the time is right'? A data disk? I had a bad, bad feeling that this was lead to something bad... But at the moment I was just glad to see our victory. But I didn't like to see him run off. I felt like I could have beaten all his pokemon with Growlithe and Aipom alone. Of course that was probably a stupid guess, seeing as one of his pokemon nearly beat two of mine. Of course, once the talk began of going to the gym, I stopping thinking about Kor and began to think about defeating the gym leader. (This is the one with the bird pokemon, right?) I wasn't too worried about that. But while I was thinking, little did I know that something was preparing to sneak up on me. Indeed, it hid in the bushed. It's teeth were sharp and it claws were sharp. It sneaked close to me and I still didn't know. Then, right as I was about to turn around it leapt! It jumped up and tackled my leg. I lost my balance and fell to me face, then quickly looked to see what it was. "Bippa!" It laughed. I rolled to its back and laughed at me. How could I be so afraid of a little 40-pound pokemon that was just over a foot tall? Either way, I was going to catch it. "Growlithe!" I said. Growlithe quickly took his place between Bippa and me. The Bippa quickly stopped its laughter then cowered at Growlithe. It took a step back in fear at the dog Pokemon. "Bippa!" It cried in fear, then began to run... Right toward Violet City. "Get back here!" I said, scurrying to my feet and chasing the Bippa. Ponyta quickly caught up with me and allowed me to climb on his back. There was no way that Bippa could go faster than my Ponyta! With Growlithe on the ground and Aipom on my shoulder, we started to chase the Bippa. Soon we got to the town. Just as we did, Ponyta managed to get right beside the Bippa. Then I jumped off, arms outspread and tackled the Bippa to the ground. I wrestled it and managed to get a hold of it. Then I stood to my feet, holding up the struggling Bippa. I held him with one hand then attempted to throw a Pokeball at him with the other. But, my one hand wasn't able to keep him. He left my grip then took off running away. Growlithe started chasing him but was quickly left in the dust. That was one fast Bippa! Perhaps I'd see him later and be able to catch him, but for now I headed to the Pokemon center. I had to thinking about winning the gym match. ((BTW, I've got a suggestion for the RPG; Well, it seems to me the level system doesn't work. You just say '[Pokemon name] levels up' every now and then after a fight and I don't think it's very balanced, because sometimes you forget to do that. Maybe we should get rid of the level system and kinda just say when they evolve and get an attack without using a level to decide it?)) |

(Actually, if you haven't noticed, I've never really used the level system in any RPG's. The only reason I have levels in my profile is to give a level of strength the Pokemon has, but they're in no way accurate. Also, James, I didn't know that about Duskull. Thanks for the heads up. BTW Taz, yes. This is the Flying type gym. The leader's name is Falkner or something... L| ) Nor and Taz ran off, leaving me all by myself... as usual... Anyway, I guess I was on my own. After a quick trip to the Pokemon Center, I was able to revive Gastly and Zubat, as well as heal Marril and Sprockle. I couldn't help but wonder what that note Sprockle had could mean. If Sprockle is really some other trainer's Pokemon, that must mean it's really strong. I decided to check into Sprockle's attacks on my Pokedex (yeah, uh... they can do that now... L| ) Gear Crush: Type Machine: Grinds the foe inbetween two gears to do damage. May cause flinch. Recharge: Type Machine: Shoots out a cable that attatches to the foe and drains HP from it, giving it to the user. Refraction: Type Light: Uses shiny surfaces to reflect light in a beam form. The brighter the light source, the more powerful the attack. This attack can also lower accuracy and/or confuse with a certain success rate depending on the brightness as well. Energise: Type Normal: Lowers Defence and Special Defence in order to sharply raise Attack and Special Attack, as well as cure a bit of HP. The list also showed other attacks, but I didn't care about them. These new attacks sounded sweet (yes, I know some of them are old from ACC, but they're new to here). I ran around town looking to see if I could find the gym, but was having no luck. Instead, I found myself at Sprout Tower. "Hmm..." I thought to myself out loud, "I probably shouldn't go in here. Chances are real good that if I go in here, some new plot thingy will start and I'll not be able to go get my gym badge very soon. I should probably turn around now." I opened the front door to Sprout Tower and went inside (shows how much I listen to myself... ). I was surprised to find that the place wasn't in a state of distress. Knowing my previous luck, it should be. Whatever.I walked around the giant waving piller, looking up in awe at how tall it was. I felt kinda nervious because it was wobbling though. What if it fell over? That would cause the whole tower to collapse and everyone would be in trouble. I started to climb up the stairs. At the top I saw a person. "AH HA!" I shouted for no reason, "You're the person who's gonna try to kill me or steal my Pokemon or something, aren't you? Come on, you don't have to hide, just battle me so we can get this over with quickly. I wanna go to the gym." "But... I'm just a normal trai..." the guy started to say. "Nope, you're not gonna fool me this time. Just battle, now." "Well, okay, but I'm telling you, I'm just a normal tr..." "GO SPROCKLE!!!" We both tossed Pokeballs into the air. Out came Sprockle and a Bellsprout (how cliche...). {to be continued cause I'm too lazy to finish...} (Yeah, I think Cor's just a bit paranoid right now... he'll get over it... I hope... )

"Well, I am back in the city; but I see none of my friends."I said in confusion. "Oh well, I better go heal." I ran to the pokemon center and healed. I then decided to check out the Sprout Tower because I was bored. I walked in and started looking around at the indside of the gigantic tower with the moving pillar in the middle. Almost immediately as I walked in...I was attacked by a Bellsprout. "Ahh, where did that thing come from?" I yelled as I reached for my belt and a pokeball. I sent out Sneasel. "Sneasel, use Ice Blow." I said to Sneasel. "Sneasel." Sneasel responded. Sneasel fired a powerful Ice Blow at the Bellsprout. It fainted instantly. "Wow, that was easy." I said. (That sounds familiar, oops) "HEY, WHY DID YOU ATTACK MY BELLSPROUT!" a voice yelled from behind me. "Hey, calm down...It attacked me out of knowhere." I said as a young boy walked out from the shadows. "Liar, you attacked it. Now you must battle me." he said. "Ok, I'll battle you...but you are taking this a little too ex..." I started to say. "Whatever, let's battle." he interrupted. "It will be a 2on2 battle. He sent out a Weepinbell and a Masukippa. I kept out Sneasel and sent out Dragosaur. "Weepinbell, Masukippa...use Vine Whip." the kid yelled. "Sneasel, use Ice Blow...Dragosaur, se Fossilbeam. I said in responce. The two plants flew at my team with vines a blazin. Sneasel fired a blast of artic air at them, while Drago fired a powerful beam of fossil. The Weepinbell was Frozen and the Masukippa was Fossilized. "Wow, that was lucky." I said as I looked at the pokemon. "Ha, like that can stop me." he said as he sprayed both of his pokemon with a Full Heal. "Dang, I knew it couldn't be that easy." I said, frowning. ;_; "Duh." he said sarcastically. "Back to the battle." Sneasel and Drago repeated there previous moves, but they were interrupted by 2 incoming Vine Whips. They flew back into the pillar. "We should really try not to hit that things." I said, anxiously. "Ya, that would be a good idea." he replied...agreing with me for once. "Sneasel, use Ice Blow...Drago, use Faint Attack." I yelled to my pokemon. "Weepinbell, use Wrap...Masukippa, use Bind." he yelled. Unfortunately, both of my pokemon are trapped and and unable to attack. With this, I switched out my pokemon. "Return you guys and go Sonicog and Abra." I said as I recalled Sneasel and Dragosaur and sent out Soniog and Abra. "Go right ahead and switch...It wont help you." he said, laughing manaically. "What's with the manaical laugh? Oh well. Abra, use Psycho Shot...Sonicog, use Ice Blow." I said. "Ok, Psycho Shot it is." responded Abra. "So, your the kid with the Talking Abra that we have heard so much about." I said. "Who's we?" I asked in confusion. "We are..." a voice said. I turned around to see a group of five people standing behind me from the shadows. "Who are you guys?" I asked. "We are the Shadows!" They all exclaimed. "Uhh, the shadows?" I said. "That's weird." "Give us that Abra." They shouted. "NO, why should I. Can we just finish our battle." I said. "No, this battle has changed. It is now you against all of us." They said. "O...k..." I said as I thru my 4 remaining pokeballs out. They all thru there's, too. There was now a Masukippa, Weepinbell, Bellsprout, Victrebell, Sunflora and Demoflora staring at me. There was instantly a barrage of Vine Whips heading at me. I had my Dragosaur, Sneasel, Abra, Frish, Sonicog, and Korinku out. "Abra, Teleport us behind them. Dragosaur, use Fossilbeam...Sneasel, use Ice Blow...Frish, use Ember...Abra, use Psycho Shot...Sonicog, use Ice Blow...Korinku, use Fire Fang...Just hit whoever you hit." I yelled to my pokemon. My attacks connected with such force that it caused an explosion. It blew a whole in the wall next to us and sent "The Shadows" flying. They blasted off. (lol) "Well, that was weird. I better head to the Pokemon Center." I said as I recalled my team. I healed my pokemon and walked out to see no one was around. I sighed. Now I was away form everyone because I had to chase a hamster pokemon. Well, I could always go see the sights. So, I went off to Sprout Tower. Growlithe followed me and Aipom rested on my shoulder. As I first walked in I was nervous to see the building was shaking. Of course I'd heard about it doing that, but it was still really creepy. And... Was that a hole in the wall? I had a very bad feeling about the support of the structure. But it was still pretty cool. "Okay Growlithe, try to resist the urge to attack the moving pillar. It could only lead to the whole building toppling down. And we don't want that." I said. Growlithe nodded with agreement. So we continued through the tower and went up some stairs. "This tower stinks..." I sighed. "Just a wobbly place... That'd be so awesome if it fell over!" I laughed. Just then the tower made a big jerk, but then went back to its normal wobbliness. Growlithe whimpered softly. "Don't worry, I bet it does it all the time." I smiled, assuring. Then it happened again. Of course it was a common thing in this kind of tower, but it still made me uneasy. But I continued to climb the tower anyway. Growlithe followed loyally behind, though still afraid that the tower could fall. I eventually got to the top. That was when Growlithe was the most scared. Andy was at the top battling. "Well, this place is boring..." I sighed. "Maybe I'll go check out the gym or something..." I said. Then the tower jerked again. From the top it was a lot worse than the way it felt at the bottom. (I don't feeling like finishing either... The laziness must be spreading!) |

The Bellsprout just stood there. It didn't seem like much of the threat. "Sprockle! Use... um... Gear Crush!" Sprockle darted at the Bellsprout with it's gears out in front spinning. The Bellsprout jumped out of the way to dodge the attack. That Bellsprout was fast. "Bellsprout! Use Vine Whip," the kid said. The vines grabbed hold of Sprockle and tossed him into the air. Then the vines flew up and grabbed him in middair again. Then slammed him down to the ground. Sprockle crashed through the floor to the floor below. "AH HA! I KNEW IT! You're some bad guy here to destroy Sprout Tower! Well, I'll stop you!" I manicaly shouted. "No, I'm not. Bellsprout just slammed it a little too ha..." the kid began to say. "SHUT UP! You can't stop me from stopping you from stopping me stop you! "What is your problem?" Sprockle hopped up the steps behind me. "Good, now go attack that evil Bellsprout with Metal Claw." Sprockle darted towards Bellsprout again. "Bellsprout! Vine Whip!" This time, Sprockle hopped on the vines and slid across them, slashing the Bellsprout with a painful claw attack. Bellsprout was KO'd. "HA! There's no way you can beat me! My Sprockle is too awesome for you!" I shouted. "Dude, you have issues..." the kid said as he walked away. I felt good. I had stopped a bad guy from destroying Sprout Tower. I walked downstairs with pride. Then, I saw a group of people who seemed to be in a battle. Next thing I knew there was an explosion. "AAAAHHH! THERE'S MORE OF THEM THAN JUST THAT GUY!" I had to do something. Without thinking, I ran towards the only guy who was left after the explosion and proceeded to tackle him. "AH HA! I'VE STOPPED YOU!!!" %> |

I was walking down the stairs when Cor tackled the guy. Growlithe let out a quest, "Owruu?" with curiosity. I decided to just let him go ahead and do whatever crazy thing he thought he was doing. So, I casually walked out the door of the tower. "Well Growlithe, I say we go find the Gym..." I said. Growlithe barked happily. Now that he was out of the tower he was acting like his old self again. "Okay, but first, lets meet up with Nor and discuss strategy or something... I'm not sure it would be wise to talk to Cor at the moment." I scratched my head. I went to the Pokecenter to see if he was there. |

After being mysteriously tackled out of Sprout Tower and landing near the pokemon center, I got up and wiped myself off. "Ow, that hurt. What hit me? I said in confusion. I walked up to the pokemon center and saw Taz standing there. I then healed my pokemon and walked to Taz. I told her about what happened and how I got tackled out of Sprout Tower by something. She told me that Cor was battling up there at the same time I was. "I need to have a word with Cor, but first we need to wait for him to get here." I said to Taz. "Then we can finally get to the gym." (Sorry, short post...I am busy. I can only post long posts during the day like earliar. *Shoots Andy*, ya crazy paranoia.) |

I tackled the guy out of Sprout Tower. As he walked away, I could have sworn that he looked like Nor. Probably some imposter trying to gain my trust or something. Anyway, now that Sprout Tower was safe from evil, I decided to head to the Pokemon Center to see if Taz and the real Nor were there. Sure enough they were. "Man, did you guys see Sprout Tower? There was some crazy gang in there trying to destroy the place. But I stopped them!" I began, "And I even tackled some guy who was disguised as Nor. So what have you guys been up to? L| |

We then decided to finally go to the gym. Taz and Nor let me go first for some reason. Something about me being crazy and they didn't want to see me for a while or something. I wasn't sure. L| I walked up to the gym. If I recall correctly, this gym was the Flying type gym in Johto. I walked in. There wasn't a roof in the building, so there was a nice breeze blowing through the whole area. I began walking when suddenly some kid to my right began shouting at me. "Hey!" he screamed, "You have to battle me! Now!" "Why?" I asked. "Cause I can see you now." "That's a stupid reason to want to battle me, but whatever." The kid sent out a Pidgey. Inside, I felt myself chuckle a little. "Go Zubat!" "Use Gust Pidgey!" The small bird flapped it's wings with much force. Course, coming from such a small bird, it wasn't much to Zubat. "Zubat... uh... use Gust back >.>" Zubat flapped it's wings with much force. Though he was also kinda small, it's Gust was a lot more forceful, and sent Pidgey flying back into the wall, KOing it in one hit. "What? I lost? But I never lose!" shouted the kid, whose name was never said. "Well, that was boring..." I said to myself as I made my way to Falkner after the kid ran off. When I got to where Falkner was, I noticed that the battlefield was hanging from four chains above a pit. Upon closer inspection, the battle platform appeared to be some big machine of sort. It then occurred to me that the Gym's started using Hazard Style Battles (you guys remember this right?) in order to up the challenge. This would be interesting... "So, you here for a battle I suppose?" Falkner said as he noticed me examining the battlefield. He then came over to me. "Yes, actually," I replied, eager to begin the battle. "Well, then let's get started." Falkner and I walked over to our own spots on the edges of the battlefield. "We'll both use two Pokemon each in a one on one fight, okay?" "Got it!" I accepted. "Alright then, let's go, Pidgey!" In a flash of light, out came yet another small bird Pokemon. For some reason, this one looked weaker than that first one the kid had. This fight would be cake! "Go Zubat! Again!" Zubat was already out still, cause I was too lazy to call him back. He just simply flew up to face the other Pidgey. "Pidgey, use Gust." Falkner said calmly. I couldn't figure out why he was using a Pidgey, of all things, to fight off people in official battles. It just seemed rather odd to use such a weak Pokemon. The blast of wind came at Zubat. Though stronger than the first, it still wasn't that effective. This fight was a joke. I expected better from a gym leader. "Zubat, use Gust too." I said. Zubat's Gust, like last time knocked the Pidgey back. Granted it didn't knock this Pidgey out, it still looked like it hurt. "Uh oh! Pidgey's in trouble!" Falkner then said surprised. "Quick, use Peck!" This was too easy. "Zubat, use Wing Attack on it before it can Peck you!" Sure enough, the Pidgey got up close, and wasn't fast enough to dodge the Wing Attack. It still wasn't KO'd though. I had to finish the thing off quickly, cause this battle was getting boring now. "Zubat, fly over and use another Wing Attack to finish it off!" Falkner then smirked. "Pidgey, use Wing Attack." The Pidgey then perked up, and flew at Zubat with blinding speed. Zubat, caught off guard, was smacked down to the ground by a powerful Wing Attack from the Pidgey. What just happened? Suddenly the Pidgey got a power boost or something. "What in the world?" I said with a puzzled expression on my face. "Deception," Falkner said, now acting like a gym leader should, "Along with being creatures of grace and style, flying type Pokemon can be masters of deception. Never let your guard down for a second. Pidgey, use Gust again." Pidgey flapped it's wings again, only this time, it created a huge twister that promptly slammed into Zubat, who was still in shock from the powerful Wing Attack. Zubat wasn't looking so good. Time for a new tactic. "Zubat, use Supersonic!" Zubat let out a loud screech towards Pidgey. Pidgey attempted to dodge, but failed in doing so and fell to the ground. It was confused! "Uh oh, now Pidgey is in trouble for real." Falkner shouted. "Zubat, while it's down, sandwich it with another Wing Attack." Falkner smirked again. I didn't like that smirk. It always seemed to be followed by something bad. "Pidgey! Talon Toss, now!" Talon Toss: Flying Type Attack Grabs the foe with talons, and flings them away at high speeds. Zubat slammed down on Pidgey with a Wing Attack. At the same time however, the Pidgey grabbed onto Zubat's wing and flew into the air. Pidgey then flew in a somersault and slammed Zubat into the ground. Pidgey wasn't confused after all! "You fell for it again!" Falkner laughed. This was actually getting annoying now. I had to think of something... deception... "Zubat, get up and use Gust again!" "Pidgey, you too!" Both twisters slammed into each other and created a blast of wind in all directions, knocking both Pidgey and Zubat down. Pidgey looked almost done in. I had it now. "Zubat, go over there and finish it off. We've got him this time." Falkner smirked again. "Pidgey, use Gust to blow Zubat away!" Now it was my turn to smirk. "Zubat, use Gust too!" With that, the two Pokemon vigorously flapped wings. There was another blast of wind, however, Pidgey had nowhere to go with the blast and was slammed back down into the floor. This time, it was KO'd. "I see... using deception against me. How clever. Let's hope you can stay on your toes for my next Pokemon. Go! Wingull!" This would be interesting... "By the way," Falkner began, "the hazards will be turned on now that my second Pokemon is out, so be ready for anything, since even I don't know what they might be." Great, this would be even more interesting. Zubat was kinda weak though, so I figured I'd swap out for Marril during the second half. I called back Zubat, and tossed Marril's Pokeball into the air... {to be continued...} (btw, feel free to do your battle too, just pretend that mine is already finished or something)

I walked into the gym and was immediately greeted by a trainer. "Battle me!" He yelled. "Nah, I'm just gana go straight to the gym leader this time. Thanks for the offer.," I walked right by him, and he didn't seem happy. "Alright Falkner, I'm here to get my gym badge!" Growlithe stood beside me, he would be my first choice for this battle. On my shoulder was Aipom, he would be my second. "Okay, two pokemon each," He said, then threw I pokeball. Growlithe jumped into the field, ready to attack. From the pokeball emerged a Wingul. I cringed, that wasn't good. I wasn't expecting a water pokemon. "Alright Growlithe, you can do it!" I said. Growlithe barked with agreement, then dashed forward. Wingul lifted off the ground in order to get out of the way, but Growlithe was too fast. He leapt in the air and bit onto the legs of the Wingul, then swung him downward and forced him to hit the ground. The Wingul stood back up and fired a watergun at Growlithe. The water hit Growlithe and he yelped as his hot, fiery body began to cool. He ran again at Wingul and tackled him. Wingul fired another water gun but Growlithe was able to jump over it and go for another bite. Wingul fainted and Growlithe barked happily with his victory. "Great job!" I said. Growlithe ran to me and by my side, then Aipom took his place. "You got lucky that fight," Falkner grabbed another pokeball and threw it. "Pidgyotto!" He yelled as the pokemon came out of the pokeball. "Aipom!" Aipom yelled. He ran at Pidgeyotto and bit his wing, but the Pidgeyotto didn't seem to be hurt very badly by it. He flapped his wing and Aipom flew off. He flew in the sky and Aipom watched with interest, then he dove down. Aipom didn't have time to dodge. Pidgeyotto's beak drilled into him and he was thrown back. Aipom stood to his feet, balancing himself with his tail. But then Pidgeyotto attacked again. He pecked at Aipom and KOed him. "Wow..." I said in disbelief. "Alright, Growlithe, you can do it. Get in there and ember!" I said. Growlithe ran into the arena, but he didn't use ember. Fire began to blaze around him. Then he jumped forward and into Pidgeyotto. The flame wheel attack Pidgeyotto badly and he was forced back a few steps. Growlithe then went for another attack. He bit the Pidgeyotto on the wing. "Pidgeyotto!" It cried in pain. It pecked at Growlithe but rolled out of the way. Then he used ember on Pidgeyotto, it didn't have time to dodge and was KOed. "There we go! Good job Growlithe!" I said happily patting Growlithe. Falkner hesitantly handed me the badge and I stuffed it in my pocket with a smile then walked out of the gym and healed my pokemon at the pokecenter. |
