| For the full topic, including RP Rules/Specifics, go here. These are the regulations of the board that will be strictly enforced. Don't expect leniency based on seniority. That goes both ways and applies to admins as well, though some things are allowed, like a cop is allowed to speed and such. You may be the seventh member to join (no offense to whoever that ends up as) or the newest, but that doesn't mean that the rules will slide off you. In other words, I don't play favorites nor do I go easy on new guys. You are obligated to read the rules when/before you join. Wrist-slaps are expected at first, but vary on quantity and quality of the offense. Board Rules: - Do not flame fellow members. This is not acceptable behavior and will not be tolerated. The longer/meaner the flame, the harder you will be knocked off your horse so try not to do that. An example of admin immunity is here, as it will tend to be used as a defense for other members. - Also, RPE-related PMs and IMs will be used against you if you flame in them. - Spamming is only allowed in the specific forum. Outside of that, do not spam elsewhere. If you need to know what that is, just ask. - This would also be posting content unrelated to the current topic. - One thing for sure, any rules mentioned in the Invisionfree Terms of Service will also apply here. It's a general courtesy I plan to uphold. - No doubling up on accounts. If your little brother also wants to play, I'm going to need to see some serious proof. - Too much cursing or un-needed cursing will result in a prompt suspension. Too much of it would come from multiple explicatives in a sentence, or one in every sentence of a post. Unnecessary comes from calling a member an explicative for any reason. A word filter won't be needed, because it's hopeful that none of the members will break this rule. - Accounts inactive for roughly a month are subject to deletion. - Respect the authority of the Admins and Moderators. If we tell you to calm down, or do anything for that matter, then do it. If a Moderator seems to be treating you unfairly, contact an Admin. If it's an Admin, contact the Head Admin. If you decide to attack us, the punishment chain will get skipped around. Now then, the discipline system is fairly simple: - First off, you'll be warned either in a following post or in a PM. Don't worry, it's just a wrist slap. - After that, expect to get an official warning. These are what you want to worry about, as there are only three strikes to it. - Next on the list is a temporary (one day at first, then a week, but varries by case) suspension. - And if you're just that terrible, you'll receive a swift kick out the door via ban/IP ban and account deletion. |
