Lollapalooza canceled due to poor ticket sales across the board. We complain about low Rush sales, but at least we're getting to see them. |

I went last year and had a blast. The lineup this year is pathetic. Morrissey is a has-been and the only bands worth seeing are The Flaming Lips and Modest Mouse. |

I'm dating myself here, but I went to the first one - Jane's Addiction, Siouxsie & the Banshees, Ice-T, Living Colour, whole bunch of other bands I can't remember. Now that was a rock festival. |

The music industry is just imploding! Overpriced concert tickets, Crappy product. Even rush is hard to see because of the cost. They are doing it though, what a fan base. |

I too was at the first, and second Lollapalooza. It was great to see all of those bands at their peak. |

I wished I could have gone to see the first Lollapalooza. I love Siouxsie and the Banshees. Lush performed at one of the tours, but I can't remember which one. I went to see Lollapalooza 1994 with Smashing Pumpkins, George Clinton, Belly, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. I can't remember the other performers offhand. |

Weren't the Beastie Boys there in 94? Maybe not. Heard they were awesome when they played it though. |

yeah, they probably were. OH, and Green Day was there also, but we skipped both of these bands. Nobody in my group cared for either one. |

It's hard to keep Lollapalooza from sucking, when you can't even keep the respective members of Jane's Addiction from cursing at each other and getting into fistfights. Sales for the 2003 edition were shitty too, despite the awesome roster. I don't think there's gonna be a Lollapalooza this year. What a terribly short-lived revival. The first three or four Lollapaloozas had awesome lineups. You just stare at the old rosters, and mumble gapemouthed in awe. Really makes me wish I had a time machine.
