Months of hard work and dedication have led PDW up to this point and Star couldn't be more happy. At this very moment, looking over the card for the company's first Pay Per View, Star couldn't be more proud of PDW as a whole. The ownership, the talent, the shows they've put out. Every sacrifice made has been worth it. No matter what trials and tribulations have found them, everyone was still going strong. Star strolled into her temporary office in the Wachovia Center in a pair of dark blue, designer hipsters and a white form fitting shirt with black and white graffitti all over it. She dropped her bag onto the floor and, purposely leaving her door open, headed for her desk. She then plopped down in her comfy chair and took a deep breath. She'd just posted the PPV card right outside of her office for the benefit of those who'd yet to hear about it. This week would be hectic but Star felt like she could handle any and everything...and she would. |

Michael had begun ambling his way down the hallway to head into the parking lot; he'd just went to get his wrestling gear before he left the arena, as with the headache he was dealing with, he didn't want to be around anymore wrestlers for the time being. No wrestlers, no wrestling. Not until next week anyway. With a sigh, Michael's snail like pace slowed to a halt when he saw the Pay-Per-View card posted on the door next to him. "Huh..." he grumbled, before he shuffled his way to the door to squint his eyes at the card. "...well ain't that some sh-SHISA!" Just as he'd begun to get comfortable by leaning on the door, he was surprised to find his balance gone after the door opened on him, causing him to inadvertently stumble into Star's office. "I'm okay, I'm-" He cut himself off upon noticing Star, to which he just straightened himself out as best as he could, cleared his throat, and brushed off his shoulder. |

Nightmare just happens to walk down the hall-way, after a win on his history going up against two hard opponents. He seems pretty damn happy, Nightmare walks up to the door and enters without even knocking. Nightmare: Bestfriend, you have done a great a job. I think we should go out for a drink. Nightmare laughs. |

Star stared between Nightmare and Mercer for a moment with a blank expression before focusing completely on Mercer. She cracked a wide grin at him tumbling into her office and shook her head. Star then waved at him and looked at Nightmare. Star: A drink? My friends are always trying to get me drunk... She then looked at Mercer at thought about offering some words to him about what Carliee had done in his match. She certainly wasn't too fond of the little girl, mostly because she'd turned Kindred against her. But Star would soon be addressing that on her own. Star: What the hell though, right? I could go for a drink. |

"Drink? Drink..." Michael trailed off for a moments, as his dream drinks clouded his thoughts. Alcohol... tasty, tasty alcohol... "...ew." Michael coughed a bit. He loved his booze, but he didn't have the stomach for it at that moment; after all, the blood from the small cut on his bottom lip hadn't done wonders for his appetite. At least it didn't fuck up the piercing he had there. "Thanks for the offer," he said, oblivious to the fact that one hadn't been offered to him at all, "but I'm gonna pass for the time bein'. I don' think my daughter'll be too happy with me if I come home drunk an' my cousin's all worried about me an' my new acquaintance wanted to talk about dinner tomorrow an'... I'm ramblin'." Catching the look Star gave him, he could almost sense that there was someone she wanted to say to him- presumably about Carliee- but he didn't press the issue. Instead he let himself turn serious for a moment, long enough to nod at Star, before turning to Nightmare and glancing between the two. "So, yeah. I'm in your way, so, I guess I'll just... you know." |

Star: Nope, you're not in my way. Star began straightening up her desk to busy herself while Nightmare and Mercer stood watching. She was bursting at the seams with energy for some reason. Maybe a drink would calm her nerves, although she was never really one for liquor. But suddenly, Star paused and looked up at Sean. A drink? She frowned. Star: On second thought...maybe we should just hang around here instead. |

Michael yawned briefly and leaned a shoulder against the door frame. As she straightened out her desk, Mercer almost thought she had a bit more than something on her mind. He made a face and let his eyes wander around the room, glancing at the PPV card on the door one more time, this time certain he wouldn't fall over from doing so. As Star spoke, however, his attention went back to her. "Somethin' botherin' ya?" |

Star paused at Mercer's question. She swept her bangs out of her face to peer and him and then suddenly smiled. She gave a quick glance at Nightmare and then looked back at Mercer. Truth be told, she wasn't sure if going out for drinks with Nightmare was the best thing to do, especially since he'd been in and out of rehabs for his drinking problem. Star: Nope. Nothing bothering me. I'm just fine. And you? |

I do agree with Mercer on this one, it does seem like something is bothering you. I guess stress from running this company huh? I still think it would be good if we went out, got some drinks and just had a good time. Nightmare looked at Star and then at Mercer. Okay, I will get a Pepsi or something and then you can drink but it would be boring if you drink alone. Nightmare smiles. |

"Somethin' wrong with me? Pff. Never." Of course Michael was lying through his teeth. The night just wouldn't be complete without a sarcastic remark coming from his mouth, but in any case, Michael didn't seem all that upset. Then again, compared to his attitude last week, anything he did would probably look tame. "I'm okay.. aside from a bloody lip an' all... y'know.. eh." He glanced between the two some more and wiped a few droplets of blood from his chin with the back of his hand. "I'm not really that thirsty, anyways, but, I won't rain on anyone's parade... not tonight anyhow." He coughed abashedly. |

Star: I guess I'm a little high strung with everything that's been going on. Having twenty different people grabbing for my attention all at once. This is the first time in a little while I've had the chance to sit down with nothing immediate that needs to be done. She leaned back in her seat and gave a relax sigh. It suddenly dawned on her that the first time she'd spoken to Mercer alone, he was wasted. Between him and Nightmare, as well as her own issues with alcohol, there was no need for any of it to be near any of them. Star: Thinking about whether or not I should take a bat to Kindred and his bitch friend though. She was referring to the incident with her car the day before. The fact that it was gone didn't matter much. She had more money than Kindred and Carliee were worth combined. It was merely the principal of it. Kindred was being a hypocrite in the worst way and Star would surely call him on it soon. Star: I swear, the chaos around here these days is straight up ridiculous. |

Michael nodded in understand. Taking a bat to Carliee was only the beginning of what he would have wanted to do to her, but he wasn't going to go too heavily into that. "Yeah well.. I'm in the same boat as far as she goes... Jake warned me, but I didn't think she had it in her to..." he trailed off with a sigh. "But if there's anythin' I learned recently, don't get mad, get even," he quirked a smile, and left the subject at that. "Yer the boss though, I'm sure you'll come up with somethin' ta your likin'." |

Star didn't really have the heart to tell Mercer that she was hoping she didn't come up with anything. In the midst of her anger, she sometimes did things that even she ended up regretting. Kindred was very close to her...but she was not going to sit around and tolerate this bullshit that was going down with him and Carliee just wouldn't do. Star: Yeah, even. She suddenly stood up and started a slow sroll over to the door where Mercer stood. He stepped aside a little and allowed Star to take another look at the card. After it was formed, she hadn't paid much attention to it. Her eyes stopped at "Michael Mercer vs Jake Matthews" and she paused. Star: Hmmm... A match between friends. They always turned out interesting. Star: Looks like everyone's got their work cut out for them this week. |

"Yeah, you don't say..." he trailed off again, backing off to let Star give the card a glance over. Shrugging lightly, he gave her a faint smile. "I dunno.. sometimes true challenges bring out the best in people." |

~~~Harris then comes to the door and knocks on it before entering. He is carrying a set of papers with him.~~~ ::Harris:: Star, can I speak to you about a business matter? |
