It been a long time since i have post something but i have to say that i am working really hard on him.he is almost done i would like if someone could rip law sound for me.it would be really helpful.And i would like to know if some of you can help me with the beta test.i want ten people to test him and give me feedback,comment because i dont want to make a v2 v3 v4 you know what i mean i want to make one version without any bug.So if you want to test it just pm me.

ps: for those that will have the char please dont give it to anyone.

Could u count me in, I'm very glad to see you are coding him. I like your chars a lot, I see our chars are in quite similiar style. I can feel you are serious with your work, they are quality product, i can tell they are solid when playing them.

Law has become one of the most popular char recently, I even had a thought to coding him myself. But that's too much work for me, I've been bz and slow these days. However I really want to help and see a good law. Let me know if you need me, I'm good at anim timing & alignment.

Btw, your head/bomb swap skill is amazing, I've no idea how you can achive that to every char... Did u add headless sprites of other char in your law? How do u decide the head/bomb position for all of them?... This is way harder than my Doflamingo enemy control.

It isnt that difficult i am using two special state 5400 and 5401
5400 for the body and 5401 for the head
When a char doesnt have those state it goes like this

So if you have a char that you have create or will create and that you want it to be compatible with this law just add a state 5400 for the body and 5401 for the head cut

I see, to suit your law I can add these 2 anim for my chars. However, each char has different height, obiviously chopper and whitebeard can't use same bomb position, u might need P2name trigger here(another issue, a lot coders don't give a simple name to their char).
In second thought, u can add all other op char headless sprite in your sff, disappear p2 and display the headless sprite from your sff during this move. This will make every char work on your move, any no need to modify all of them. However, they may be in different palette in fight... Maybe make a palfx (like burning, to cover their current pal)

That's right, I also think nobody is using the head.pos... I'm one of them. :unsure:
Anyway, It's only a position for stand state 0(? I think, maybe it's not). Most likely this pos is different to gethit state.

i use gethit anim for head.pos because people normally use it for attacks

i have done it! just a little while before i show you guys some trial attack i did for maxor. just trying a few things but the concept is done XD

and for custom states, just consider the things you have control over, don't waste time over those things you can't control like size/height of enemy char, etc.

i was finally able to fix the small things. here is the concept applicable to most chars (but the more amount of compatible chars, the more codes, more work, easy if you understand the concept of coding it but tedious), (actually the attack itself will absolutely work, just the issue whether p2 is invisible or not will depend on the sprites going to be in the law char). the damage is easy to code afterwards.

i hated that mugen is such a picky engine. all the triggers that are reasonable and should work actually did not work, i tried to be as specific as possible but it turned out mugen wanted me to be less specific with my triggers.

it is a new attack for testing coded by me on maxor's law char.

now that i have worked this much on this, i am not sure anymore if this work will be given :\

actually i wanted to code a law char but ts version (if there are sprites). i love coding custom states, but not the pointless tedious custom states stuff like doflamingo or ino/shikamaru (naruto). most, if not all, of law's specials are custom states at first thought.

btw, there is a problem, if your opponent is an SH, you cannot determine it as pre-ts or ts if there is nothing indicating it in the name. it can only be made in a game, when you can synchronize your other stuff like variables so you can use them to check which is which. (if someone knows a possible way aside from making a mugen game and putting the ts/pts in char name directly, please tell, i am interested) bye
