Skill Rankings If you wish to rank up a skill level upon your shinobi, speak to a staff member and the test will be given in accordance to the status. You must go through them in order, when ranking up you automatically loose your skill levels. So make sure you are in a rank you will probably stay with. Experienced(EXP)- The shinobi would have been that rank for a reasonable amount of time and would be at least two times more proficient than their standard counterpart. Advanced(ADV)- The shinobi would have been that rank for an extended amount of time and would be three-four times more proficient in skill than their standard counterpart. Professional(Prof)- The shinobi would have been that rank for a long time and would five-six times more proficient in skill than their standard counterpart. Elite(ELT)- The shinobi is the best of the best and would be eight-ten times more proficient than their standard counterpart. Legendary(LGD)-The shinobi is extremely powerful and is well known for their ability. They could be anywhere from 18-20 times more proficient than their standard counterpart. Ranks Genin-The standard genin is weak and would have no chance in the face of a stronger shinobi. They have most likely only developed rudimentary specialization and chakra affinity control. A genin may reach up to experienced status. Chuunin-The standard Chuunin is the journeyman of shinobi. The not to elite and not novice, they make an intermediate shinobi. They may reach an Advanced status. Tokubetsu Jounin-The Tokubetsu jounin is a shinobi who has gained a high level of mastery in one specific art. Better than Chuunin but not yet good enough to become a Jounin, they are still a formidable opponent. They may reach Professional status. Jounin-The Jounin has gained a high level of mastery in multiple fields. Being some of the villages most elite shinobi, they are truly powerful opponents. They may reach elite status. Anbu-The Anbu have been handpicked by the villages leaders to become the special forces of their respective village. They are some of the most elite shinobi you will ever find and are expertly trained in multiple ninja arts. One would have had to have been a highly experienced or powerful shinobi to even have a chance, few become Anbu. They may reach elite status. Anbu Captain-The Anbu Captain is an Anbu who has demonstrated outstanding ability among the Anbu as a whole. Seeing how selective the Anbu are they are indeed Elite shinobi. They may reach Legendary status. (Only five per village, staff approval required) Legendary- The all powerful shinobi is known as legendary. Holding incredible powers the Legendary shinobi is able to go head to head with a Kage and have a pretty good chance at a victory. Many Kage have fallen in the past being stupid enough to face one of these shinobi alone. Most Legendary shinobi are missing ninja. (Staff approval required) Saanin-For every generation only three shinobi may be Saanin. The Saanin are the Kage equivalents and have been known to even surpass the kage at times. Their only upgrade is to Legendary status. (Administrator approval required) Kage- The Kage is the strongest shinobi of the village and are well known as some of the most powerful shinobi alive. (Only five members of the board may be Kage, this is a staff discussed and specially selected position.) Immortal- Almost no known shinobi have ever reached this status. The ones that have were terrible tyrannical beings and mostly just legends. An immortal surpasses all other shinobi and holds powers capable of taking on a Bijuu or destroying an entire countryside. There is rumor that three of these beings exist somewhere in the world. Each one representing an aspect of human nature, one for Purity and Good, another for Evil and Corruption, and the last for a direct balance of both. Though this is most likely just an old legend, no one can ever help but wonder. Edited by Calsipher, Jun 20 2009, 04:18 PM.
