Has anyone used this or something similar? http://www.giggle-bug.com/ I really need something like this for dylan. Today was kinda a last straw! As most know he is constantly running away, doesnt look back, and doesnt answer when called. I figure at least this will answer for him

Ya that's where I saw it too! I saw a diego version at walmart... but doesnt have as wide of a range as the giggle bug. It got really mixed reviews on amazon.

Tracey is it loud? Like is there no trouble hearing it in a crowd? The giggle bug one had compliants of not being loud enough. For me I just need indication of which direction he went

I did buy one yesterday. Coochicoo carries them. Also heard they have them at travel bug downtown. I've used it twice so far. I'm not totally sold on it yet. I love the concept... but it doesnt always work. It's a little odd... Sometimes you press the button and it works first try. Other times I press it like 20 times before it actually goes off. I think wind may be a factor... gonna look into it. Oh and this is with dylan within arms reach. I'm getting dh to get me some batteries for the hand held part... just to be sure that isnt the trouble. I want to try it out a little more before I pass my full judgement.

Positives... he hasnt tried to take it off yet lol And when it does beep... dylan semi freezes. He seemed to run off way less today. The sound is not extremely loud... but the thing is... when you press the button you are listening for the beep... so kinda makes it easier to pick out at distances.

Dh and I are going to play with it a bit and some point. I'll let you all know what I think... when I have had a chacne to play with it more.
