We went this afternoon. It was ok with the stroller. Although I parked it a bit and let dylan walk around some. We had a great time and several butterflies landed on me and dylan... i think they were attracted to our pretty green stroller  We didnt stay a l,ong time... dh is still recovering and the heat got to him a little.

Where is the best place to park to go check out the butterfly exhibit? I usually park in the lot nearest the duck pond, but I'm not sure if there is something closer to the greenhouse ....

I think the greenhouse is next to the duck pond, on the other side of the bridge that the road goes over. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong!!

We parked in the duck pond parking and walked up. The other option would be to pay at a meter across the road at the waterford hosp. The main bridge is still out / under construction... so either walk up the street side of the pond or you will have to walk a little further to the second bride (no biggie not much further). We ended up walking back the street  was easier with the stroller.

I bet that was easier! We were one afternoon last week, and traversing around the pond to the main pathways with a stroller would not have been the easiest!

Katherine, the only greenhouse I know is on the other side of the pond, further down the pathways. Maybe I have the wrong one!

Yup. That's where I thought I had to go!

scubamom, there is a little gift shop there as well, so I think they are set up for debit as well as cash.

we just got back, and zayd loved it, and declan enjoyed it. But they both went nuts for the ducks there were so many near the car.

I could have sat with the butterflys all day but it was so busy in there. It would be a great place when empty and you could sit and relax (without the kids) and watch them all fly by.

I am so glad i heard about it here, thank you for posting about it.

Hey Scba,

we were there at the same time this morning!

Our kids could've stayed and looked at the butterflies all day and the ducks were great - they ate Evan's cookie. It was so funny. :P
