When I was there yesterday they had several of the classic Dr. Seuss titles (One Fish Two Fish, Green Eggs & Ham, and The Cat in the Hat) for $5 (regular cover price is $13) and they also had the brand-new Sandra Boynton title, "Your Personal Penguin". The Penguins are adorable. Anyway, that one was also $5 and change, regular price is $10. I'm a sucker for kid's books ... |

I find that Dominion stores are really good for childrens books. They usually have ahuge bin with a pile of mark down books in it. Thats where we go most of Onicas books |

Costco is the cheapest place childrens books hands down!
:D Dominion is ok... they are 25% off cover price... but you can't beat costco prices on books! I'm still a sucker for chapters... I love roaming around chapters for an hour at a time! I also really like taking dylan to Granny Bates! |

Costco is great for book! Stephen loves books - his favorite rigth now is from Costco - it is Things that Go - it has big foam pages and the pieces (truck, plane, ambulance etc) come out! He loves it! |

We have a lot of those foam books, too. What I don't understand about the childrens books at Dominion is why 75% of them are based on licensed characters! Dora, Diego, and those Disney Princesses aren't really the literary experience that I was hoping for when I read to my daughter. Give me Robert Munsch! Give me Laura Numeroff! Mercer Mayer! All cities ought to have a shop like Granny Bates :) |

Yes, just children's books. It's located at 2 Bates Hill, just off of Duckworth. It's website is here: http://www.grannybates.com/ |
