If you have not tried using a baby sleeping bag, let me tell you, they are one of the best things I have bought since Liam was born! Apparently it is all they use in Europe. No blankets. Supposed to be great for preventing SIDS. For toddlers, it prevents them from climbing out of their cribs, since they can't get their leg out over the rail.

I did a lot of research on them, but never got around to buying one until Coo Chi Coo opened on Topsail Road last fall. Now everyone at our house is sleeping better! Liam would often wake up in the middle of the night, after kicking off all the blankets & even when he didn't I was up several times just making sure he was still covered up. Now I have no worries. He is always toasty warm. Many nights I do not even put jammie pants on him, just a top.

The one I have is a Grobag. There are many different brands, so I don't know what the other ones are like (if they are as good).

If you have any questions. please feel free to ask.

Sounds like a good product to buy. Alexander wakes up every night and sometimes I wonder if it's because he kicks the blankets off himself. When he sleeps with Kyle, he usually sleeps all night or until early morning. Perhaps I should buy one of them. Where did you say you can buy them to? What would the price be?

Hi. I bought mine at Coo Chi Coo on Topsail Road. It is a new boutique that opened last fall. There is a Ches's, Tim's & Jungle Jim's in the same plaza. You can also buy them online. Try www.grobag.ca or .com. By the time you pay shipping it is just as well to buy it here (unless you can't get to St. John's). I think the price is about $60 or $65 (plus tax), depending on the size. They start at 0-6 mons & go up to 18-36 mons I think.

I can honestly say it is the best money I have spent since Liam was born!

Walmart and zellars both have cheaper versions. I had a bunch of these (various brands) for dylan... we used them all last winter. Next gave him a blanket until he was almost one!
