do you still use cloth diapers, and how are they for leaks. I think i have tried every diaper out there and every night olivia wakes up sogged nothing in her diaper but it goes up her back and out the sides. I have to take her out of bed because shes crying change her then shes awake for hours. If this only happen every now and again i wouldnt mind but everynight. Im so tired. Im using pampers baby dry with the flex now. Iv tried cruisers, huggies, parents choice is there any decent diapers out there. |

I still use cloth.. but I am only a part time cloth user! I basically use them mainly around the house. When we go out and at night we use disposables. I did use cloth over night a bunch of times when dylan fell asleep in them. Never much leakage problems.. but I didn't like the stale pee smell in the morning
 I started out using chinese prefolds and covers... I really got my moneys worth with that stuff... lasted from 15-30lbs. Now I am using Kushies all in ones (you can buy them at sears here) and kushies pull up trainers. These are suppose to fit up to ~42lbs. I find the all in ones a little bulky and surprisingly I miss the diaper folding... but they are easier to get on (no different then a disposable).. making them dad friendly (dh didn't like putting on the prefolds hehehe). The kushies traines are pretty cheap and will be great for potty training. But I they are a little diffcult to deal with after a poop <_< As for disposables. We use reg. huggies and pull ups. Pulls ups are no good for naps or over night... but I like how they dont seem bulky at all and they fit dylan great. Also he can't take them off as easily as the reg. diapers. I've never had a problem with the reg. huggies. I wish they would get better characters on them though lol |

Forgot to mention that I dislike Pampers Baby Dry because they leak insanely on dylan. I also dislike parents because they leave those gel beads behind on babies skin. |

My fave store for cloth diapers (and they sell other things, too) is Jamtots. They're in Victoria, I believe. The girls there have helped me out a few times when I've had bad experiences with Fuzzi-Bunz. They also make a lot of their own diapering supplies, like hemp inserts, AIOs, etc. |

LL Bean, Lands' End, and Hanna Andersson are American retailers that do ship to Canada. They also handle all duties payable at checkout, so the surprise when the packages arrive is eliminated. I've also bought M clothing from eBay. There's even a lot of brand-new stuff (NWT) there. (Well, Hanna Andersson is from Europe, actually). |

for anyone who is considering cloth diapers, i swear by motherease all in ones (www.motherease.com), they are a canadian company and i have had my money worth 10 times overs, as have used mine full time for both of my boys. The little guy is still in them, and the great thing is ive never had a leak or a poop blow out in them, which cannot be said for the disposibles ive tried occasionally. The even greater thing is they are a one size so can be worn from birth (although make for a bulky but cute bum), until potty trained, as you fold over and snap to the size you want. Expensive initial investement, i spent around $500 and got a large stash but thats all i spend on diapers for 2 kids, for 2.5 yrs each and that works out to be a bargain. if anyone wants more info im willing to help, just ask. as a vertean at it now, and ive got my washing and pail routine down pat even small things i found out over time, like to use a fleece liner inside as wicks moisture away from babies bum to make them feel more dry etc etc |
