Whole leaf tea in my Rishi Simple Brew glass teapot is my favorite way to brew my tea - http://www.rishi-tea.com/product/simple-br...t/glass-teapots . Having no basket, this little treasure of American tea technology brews a lovely cup of tea! The glass is very durable too. I never use tea balls or baskets as they do not allow for complete expansion of the leaf, thus compromising flavor.

:::Steps down off of soap box:::

That said, I, like my friend, Mattie, leave for work at 6:30am. On mornings when I get out of bed at the last minute it's a teabag of Yorkshire Gold, Twinings English Breakfast or Stash of Oregon Earl Grey in a mug. They do the job.

Ah...On weekends and days off or, if I happen to not be rushed, it's my little Rishi teapot with a nice China black Keemun, Margaret's Hope second flush Darjeeling, Kenilworth Ceylon or a loose leaf lavender Earl Grey to sip and savor. :tea:

I quite enjoy the ritual of making tea. Ideally, it should never be rushed. :)

I do, and vanilla flavoured rooibos :)

Right now I am enjoying a pot of Earl Grey, before I have to hit the frog and toad for another very long day. I made sure I got up extra early so I wouldn't miss out on my tea.

There is an interesting article here about the health benefits of drinking camomile tea. (Although they appear to apply only for the ladies, that doesn't mean the men can't enjoy it for its own sake of course.)

Just finished my first tea of the day. There will be many more to follow!

I've just recently discovered (or rather tried) camomile tea. Very relaxing. Posted Image

Hi everybody!

My new position at work, teaching classes in dementia care, has put me on a more hectic schedule. I still fill in on the nursing units as well - I am exhausted!

That said, I did manage to have my birthday off, so I am going to afternoon tea with my other half/best friend/anam cara, Charlie. Charlie, like yours truly, is a tea fanatic too. We are going to a quaint little neighborhood tea room called The Eclectic Cottage http://mobile.eclecticcottage.comcastbiz.net .
I think that I might go with the Lavender Vanilla Black - So many choices! Charlie dearly loves his Earl Grey, but I am attempting to broaden his horizons.

Anyway, I hope that everyone is happy and healthy and enjoying their tea!

Could I suggest that this thread might work better in The Village?
