Not yet, but I do have some 'hot off the press' news to share, which may incite scandal and protest from some parts of Canada: One Judge only scores Ski Jump Event Today’s first round of the Ski Jump event saw ONE judge only scoring the event, Judge Pomtuk Binoculars. The series of unfortunate events leading to this sorry state are indicated as follows in the official reports:
Officials from Devil Heart report they are happy with the results, finding Judge Pomtuk Binoculars. fair and unbiased.
Matilda Love extends her condolences to Chief Minister Dean Emerson of Stormaen, some say a little smugly. |

Anthony Stark of ParrrrTay wins silver for Canada
The Skeleton Event A dull day was had by all at this event. A book club was set up at the Observers seat, reportedly well attended with fascinating insights and heated discussion. Judge Mortimer G Hornsnapple III spent most of his time over at the Frozen Tiki bar. For more information on the above two events, here is a link to the score thread: http://z1.invisionfree.com/Wysterian_Forum...post&p=22004590 A report direct from Wysteria on the Alpinism Event:

The Ice Hockey is in full swing, the first round saw Almonaster Nuevo's Farben Focus team make in into the second rounds, but not unfortunately into the third. We are yet to see how the land, ParrrrTay and Stormaen's teams will fair. The Alpinist event finds the Nuevan team taking a safer route:
While the Devimanians have come to a dead halt in their underground foray below the Echo Mountains.
we haven't heard from the Wild Mustanges, ParrrrTay nor the Stormaen teams, one presumes they are progressing steadily.

Further Information (including an up to date map) of weird team behaviours and mishaps can be found here: http://z1.invisionfree.com/Wysterian_Forum...post&p=22004666 Here are the Candian team highlights:
We have not heard from three nations’ teams, Stormaen, ParrrTay and Almonaster Nuevo, we presume no news is good news. To catch up on the outcomes at the Ice Hocky Events, check here: http://z1.invisionfree.com/Wysterian_Forum...post&p=22004656 Results so far from Speed Skating Almonaster Nuevo’s Gogoko Gonzales, ParrrrTay’s Emma Friesen and Stormaen’s Eden Denman have made it into the second rounds. It seems we are down to one judge only again! Fairlea Godmother really bombed:
While Deden Denman from Stormaen shone:
There were further second round events (I don’t understand why but the more sporting types might be able to clarify for us) and here are those results:

Good update! Shame about Denman! His husband will be annoyed (more at ruining that fabulous outfit than dropping out)! One did wonder where those alpinists had gotten to!

Gogoko Gonzales wins GOLD for Canada Reports delayed by blizzard conditions never before experienced, but we are very proud to announce Gogoko Gonzales of Almonaster Nuevo has won gold for Canada in the Speed Skating event. Read in detail here http://z1.invisionfree.com/Wysterian_Forum...post&p=22004688 Proving there is no gain without pain, we have an image coming through now, it is indeed Gogoko Ganzales sliding into a very painful victory
And here at last is a copy of the final score sheet for this event: ![]() The reports are now arriving from the Biathalon Event.... Oh dear, Canada has not done as well this time. However ParrrrTay’s Avery Kocheev’s results are worth noting in the score sheet below. ** What a lovely day we had at Haon Ski Resort where 70 skiers took their best shot at the Biathlon ** The tournament was split into 3 batches in order to accommodate the number of athletes per mass start. As one can see on the map that was distribute by the Judges ![]() All Skiers were required to cross country through a trail of 14.5k which had 3 levels of difficulties: A Mix of Surface Types and Angels percentages. ![]() In addition every several Kilometers, Skiers were forced to stop and get down to business shooting 5 targets. Every miss target was counted as A One minute penalty point and was eventually added to the Total time score. Lets look at our results ![]() ![]() ![]() Devil Heart’s Poppy Tall was very disappointing for the nation:
Matilda Love tweeted that an athlete’s handicap should be handicapped so all can compete under fair rules. Poppy Tall could not be contacted, she is apparently devastated by the results and needed to clean her skis. We have just received the results of the Curling event. Nothing of great interest from our Canadian athletes to note in this event, but here is a link for those that like to keep up with all the results: http://z1.invisionfree.com/Wysterian_Forum...ost&p=22004701’ Oh, and an interesting occurrence in the Observer’s Seat:
Finally, the most recent results are in, the
That Knut Braveheart from Devil Heart has proven a very odd disappointment to Canada in these games. Seems he just can’t stay away from the water.
And oh my goodness, this was an unexpected huge disappointment from Daniosa Koteji of Almonaster Nuevo Here is the report now:
We have not yet heard any comment from the nation of Almonaster Nuevo, we will let you know if there is any further news. |
