Honestly, like you said, it isn't a big suprise. Unfortunately, Mugabe will probably remain in power until he dies. I don't believe that the international community would intervene to oust Mugabe and give power to Tsangarai.

I agree with you. Certainly African governments are not going to oust Mugabe, South Africa won't even officially aknowledge his human rights abuses.

As for staying in office 'til he dies...well, Mugabe is 84 years old. Hopefully time will do what Africa won't...
