I'm from Winnipeg. Nice city. That being said, I'm shocked that Toronto didn't make the list. I think it truly is a wonderful city. Same with Quebec City, Cheticamp NS, Antigonish NS and Banff, Alberta.

I work one block from the current main post office. I park in the lot right next to the garage door where all the semi-trailers go in. They often stop and block all four lanes of traffic on Smith Street, and make me a little late for work. I can't wait until the new post office opens in a location FAR FAR away. (Though I will miss the Canada Post Cafeteria - cheap breakfast).

You are allowed the use of the PO cafeteria?! Ours is only open to posties/management...

We're to get a new one just like the new one Winnipeg is getting. Probably 2012-ish...

It's open to the public until 5:00 p.m. It's found on the second floor, in the Winnipeg walkway system. I think it attracts far more non-posties than actual postal employees.
