A few nights ago I sat through the movie 'Spanglish' . The flick had one or two funny moments but had a sketchy plot with a ending that just didn't seem to fit.

The Bucket List

A very well done movie. It hit all the emotions, good, bad and indifferent. I'm sure my current situation had something to do with it but regardless, this is a must see IMHO. Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson were as usual outstanding.

I recently saw 27 Dresses.

If you're not a chick flick person, do NOT see this movie. Even I enjoy a chick flick every so often, but this was so much so that I about puked up pink after. Uck.

Glad you gave me the heads up. I'm a chick flick skeptic, but some of my friends wanted to see it as a girls' night out kind of thing.

Ew.

Yeah...avoid that unless you want to go home and throw up cake, flowers, glitter, and lace. Uck.

Almost as bad as watching Legally Blonde: The Musical, after which I wanted to puke hairspray, sequins, and rainbows. Ugg.

My aunt just saw The Bucket List and gave it a good review, I was thinking about renting that for tonight.

If you enjoy those type of movies, you may like 'Steel Magnolias' a film from the 90's about the lives of different women in southern Louisiana. Even though I don't watch many chick flicks, I enjoyed this one.

FYI (for your information) NFW stands for No Fucking Way.

But thanks!

Steel Magnolias... I love that movie, but that and The Trouble With Harry are the only two movies with that icky Shirley MacLean that I'll watch.

Untraceable.

A bit graphic in spots but far from the worst serial killer movie I've seen. Worth a look.

Best part is, it's based on a true story.

Another fan?!

I've forced my friends to watch it and they dont get why I love that dang movie! Oh oh, and the guy who plays Lo Han, James Hong, did the voice of Po's dad, the noodle shop owner in Kung Fu Panda. I about peed when I recognized his voice! My boyfriend didn't get it... *sigh*

My dad and I love Big Trouble In Little China. I love how Hong says "gween eyes" and how one of the storms blows up at the end. Yessss

I saw Wall-E today. I missed some parts due to an uncooperative 4 year old, but it was ok. Not the best Pixar film ever, but still worth the price of admission. Impressive that the first 30 minutes had NO DIALOGUE whatsoever, and it was still watchable.
