LOL - I wanted to see that movie, but I'm now having second thoughts.

Walked into the wrong theater and saw Vitus by mistake. Awesome! Ess would love it and make Daisy watch it with her; JT would be irritated by it and leave half way through; and Almo would really get a quiet kickout of it.

That's a pretty decent program they've got there. Especially if you are in a remote area.

I IMDB'd it and I don't see why I would love it, so now I *have* to see it!

Daisy would like it? :eyebrow:

Trust me, it may sound pretentious, but it's really a feel-good, intelligent story. Beautiful cinematography... you know, for the dogs.

Which is probably next week, at least in the U.S. Indy films don't make it on the screen for very long.

Might Netflicks it and see.

We have this great little shop called Village Vidiot, and I've been going there for years for my cult and anime fix. Gamer store, too. Ooooo... drats! They also have mochi ice cream, which I can't have. But one day...

Watched "Wedding Crashers" last night, or at least attempted to. About an hour or so into the movie, we turned it off--it just wasn't that funny to any of us. And the whole movie seemed to be leading up to a pretty predictable ending, which after reading the plot summary on Wikipedia, turned out exactly like we thought. Good thing it was a borrowed DVD and we didn't actually pay money to rent or buy it.

I dunno, maybe I'm just jaded...

No, you're right on. It stunk. I didn't pay for Benchwarmers or Wedding Crashers, and didn't make it all the way through the movies either! BW=4 min. WC=30 min.

Wedding Crasher sucked so bad!

We watched about 1/2 hour of it as well and we watched it at home which means we might have actually paid for it.

I remember when it first came out, Benchwarmers seemed promising, but it was quite bad.

I wasn't able to watch all of Wedding Crashers either. Never even bothered to start watching Benchwarmers.

Welll, the IMDB profile is very sketchy, but I have some idea why it might get people's attention...

Stars Dolph Lundgren and has these keywords listed:

Lesbianism / Bath / Female Nudity / Gun / Hitman

I'm watching "300" tomorrow night. I hear there are "liberties" taken with the sotry line, but just so it's not poorly done, I'll be fine.

Never saw Wedding Crashers, but I thought the Benchwarmers was decent. I love the scene in Jon Lovitz's characther's house with all the Star Wars stuff. Being a huge Star Wars fan, the first time I saw that scene, I had a tear in my eye, and I said to my friend, "it's like a damn fairytale, I tell ya!!"

BTW, 300 is one of the better movies I've seen recently.

I liked 300 as well, but I just thought there were so many people who didn't realize the historical significance of the movie.

To hell with Dodgeball... 300 was a real underdog story.

BTW, Dodgeball's a funny movie.
