Is it possible to learn all elements with a Genius basic? I heard Rinnegan gives 100 EP which easily allows learning of all elements if the cost of learning a new one doesn't increase. I want to achieve learning all elements without Rinnegan though. |

That's not bad, that's 15 different attacks or support jutsus from different elements. |

You could always go Uchiha get all 5 elements and only use EP on the passives that make the element jutsus worth. Like tornado for fuuton, that suiton passives that increase the dmg outside water or like a stone/mountain on dotons. Then you could use copy to get the jutsus. You would have to get some jutsus to get to those passives but overall you would be capable of using more jutsus, more efficiently and with less EP cost than with a basic. With Genius you get like 20 SP after reaching 50 years old which you can trade for 3 EP each. That means 60 EP. With age boosts and ranks you should have more or less 150 EP. Uchihas start with Katon so you would only have to use 40 Ep to get the other elements. 150-40 = 110 If you want magma/blue flames you would need to use like 45 EP on the katon tree (I'm not sure of the actual value) 110 - 45 = 65 Now you have 65 EP to spread around on the other trees so it's pretty do-able. The thing with this kind of character is that you will spend most of the time training and waiting for EP. You will most likely get bored. That and I'm sure it will be pretty hard to master it... Too much jutsus make me forget about using half of them in a fight but that's me. |

I rounded up the possible amount of EP I could get in the game's lifetime if going basic with no surname. I got to at least an estimate of 195-200 EP IF Genius is picked as a primary trait. Without Genius you still get around 105-110 EP, so there's still decent room for all elements, just less chance of also affording passives. In the next wipe I shall test this out and make a basic char with the intent of getting all elements with all the most powerful or useful jutsu in each respective element.

I'm gonna have to keep doing that every time I log off, so it feels less like a accomplishment and more like a cheap gimmick. |

I'm actually really interested to see how this turns out. Just my personal taste, but if I was going for elements I would focus mainly on the utility-esque jutsu (doton armor, water wall, spinning wind) and certain must-have passives (raiton stun/screw, tornado, etc). Afterwards I would aim to get a few supers, mainly the one's that nearly guarentee a KO on connection. It's like a "Set up the enemy, then go for the kill" type of playstyle. Would be really cool to see it in action using all 5 elements. |

had every element on my rebirthed Kusakin It works for damage and utility, but it was honestly more annoying/confusing for me because too many jutsu - not enough macros. After that I usually stick to two-three element builds Edited by Tengetsu, Sep 10 2015, 07:16 PM.

If anything I'm going to use doton as a support element (walls for trapping, swamp for slowing down), katon for offence (fireballs, goukyo, etc) suiton for stam hitters, maybe get syrup if i have enough ep, fuuton for katon combos (daitoppa), and raiton for aoe stuns (lightning ball, electromagnetic murder, maybe chidori senbon). I'll have a lot on my plate, but I'll select certain jutsus from each element to put on my hotslots and then macro things like kawa, body flicker, etc. The catch is that I have been applying for a lot of jobs lately and have a interview tomorrow so if I get a job, my grinding time will be cut by 50% most likely so it'll take some time before you see a Avatar running around in NFF. I went upto 4 elements on an alt once, it isn't as good as it sounds for the same reasons that Ina stated. Too many jutsus so it gets confusing, and not enough keys to macro everything. |
