Hello my friends! I got back from deployment a month or so ago and I've not yet begun to play NFF. I was waiting to get a place and get internet..ect.. I've decided to play again and I've been thinking about doing a taijutsu specialist. I feel like Taijutsu is UP but I'm going for it! I'm going to be using leaf taijutsu, but I'm having a hard time finding something to build on. I have my build down it's going to be 40/5/10. What I need however is a good clan name to use with that. I was thinking Naga but we all know how that turned out >.> Are there any other options left? And does anyone have any advice for this spec? |

I'd highly recommend a Fuuma, Uchiha, Aburame, or Inuzuka. Or if you are looking for a basic specifically, then try Momochi. Now the reasons I chose these specific clans is because how they were changed since you last played. Fuuma's get a 30% CD on all skills depending on how you built. So if your going taijutsu with that build, you'd get a 30% CD on taijutsu, while everything else gets a 10% CD. Also you can struggle up more, as if they had iron will. Uchiha because you get access to a doujutsu for targeting/ see Aura's, can counter genjutsu, and you would have access to another form of taijutsu via Sharingan Copy. Aburame because insect sphere and bug shield will guarantee that all of your leaf taijutsu will hit (reppu/ senpuu) since most of the times the target will get kicked out the way and receive 3 hits out of however many it does now, and you can also drain their chakra when you knock them out. And Inuzuka because of how fast they move when in beast form, and they cannot be bound by syrup and can still run even with no stamina. You can add akimichi if you want to just knock people out with 1 hit.. but that requires you to walk, and have a lot of calories. Momochi gets a +5 physique added to your build, and some endurance which is always nice. good luck. Edited by Archer, Jun 16 2014, 09:44 PM.

Oh, Wow! Thanks for the input! That is a lot to consider. I hadn't thought much about the changes that were made while I was away.. That Aburame idea of yours sounds pretty nice! But what kind of build would you recommend for that? |

Putting aside everyone elses troll post. I would recommend 28 8 15 for Aburame. There isn't really much of a difference from 24-28 physique in my testing so you could mix around the build however you see fit. I added 15 control because Sasuna actually changed around some Genjutsu requirements (I'm not sure if you use genjutsu or not), And the 8 capacity is just so you can have a bit more chakra, because aburame start with low chakra. Another build with aburame i'd say is 21 5 24 reason I say 24 control is you have access to sensory jutsu (which you can use to track peoples aura without a doujutsu) Also you have access to AOE genjutsu, and access to chakra hide (hides your chakra aura from doujutsu users), and blaze burn (since sasuna changed the requirements to about 20 control). Not only that but while you were away, poison was buffed quite a bit, with 24 control your poison tick will be insane. Sorry for the grammar issues, i'm a bit drunk at the moment. |

Hey Beji, Long time no see. I'd like to start with : Taijutsu is not underpowered. If you want a basic, then you should try out Momochi, but I'd suggest a different taijutsu style, such as Rock Taijutsu or Uchiha Taijutsu. You can utilize the 10 control as a Momochi. If you want to go a clan, then you should drop out 5 SPs and make your build either 40/5/5 or 35/5/5. Uchiha is good to start with, so is Inuzuka and Akimichi, Fuuma's passives can be used as well, and I'd reccomend using your EPs for SP for the Shunshin Passives. You can copy all the styles if you're an Uchiha, and not just that, but your sharingan will help you a lot. As an Inuzuka, Taijutsu can always help you. Akimichi is overpowered with Taijutsu, especially with a 40 physique character. I'd suggest getting Powerful or Tough. For the secondary trait, Iron Will is perfect. |
