So.. I bought the game expecting it to play just like Bastion, but the gameplay is very very different from Bastion. To simplify the gameplay, it's a rpg action with this unique turn based system. The turn based system is like hitting the matrix/time pause button. During this time you can move then position where you want to attack or who you want to attack. It can also be used to even get out of the way from incoming attacks or just to get some more distance against close up targets. You can combine attacks with other attacks, actually stacking each other together making a new power. You can combine up to 3 attacks with each other making the game even more unique. The games soundtrack is amazing. The music is on par with the Bastion soundtrack. The new sound track is on Spotify if anyone wants to listen to it. I highly recommend this game for anyone that liked Bastion or anyone for that matter to get this. |
