yeah fox kinda am how many times have you honestly seen a nerf topic about stat boosts before the recent ones after that broken ass shark passive was added which is powerful on all suitons instead of just sharks
I mean I don't know about topics, but people have been complaining about boost forever. They complained about Pills and Akimichi letting you hit, what was it 10,000? Gates letting you charge your punch yo 10,000+(?). Kets boost was complained about a lot (Remember it didn't stop when it maxed your stat? ;)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))), Kurama boosted your stats and was complained about (or any last name for that matter, why they were nerfed. . .). Sage Mode(s) are complained about, etc. Like all these boost have a history of getting nerfed, removed, or altered for a reason.

Stuff that boost stats are/is complained about all the time. Much like a lot of other moves, the difference is that the Stat Boost causes other things to become broken and the solution convoluted.

Yes, adding hard-caps to damage is something that should be done and worked on. But that is a lot of work as opposed to fixing/removing/re-working like 7 things and crippling the problem.

Also, powerful removes the cap on Jutsu, and there was something wrong with it that made it so you couldn't re-introduce a new cap (if I remember what Argon said correctly). I don't know if Sasuna has found a way to circumvent that issue either tho. But then again he hasn't been able to fix Fumma Stealth either wink wink nudge wink nudge wink won't happen

I agree to this, NFF is slowly turning itself into a Goa-like Rip.
Where its all based on Boosts and Boosts. which take away the fun and skill.

hey hey no need to bash GOA. it was fun in its own way, and did in fact take skill. NFF is just whoever knows how to get the best thing wins

GOA's shunshin is a no skill auto hit anything move. That one move alone makes it less skilled than NFF.

In Goa everyone double macros everything with body flicker and boostless clans are trash, at least on higher level.

In the end its always about who got the better macros and higher stats. Not saying that it doesn't take any skill at all, but its much easier to be sucessful in goa compared to nff.

Tell me then :/ When your idea of Removing all stat boosts what will fill in the gap, What will Satous get?,Hoshis? HOw will sage mode work? or Gates?, How would you Rework Cs? :/ I'm all for less stat boost My Hoshi Thing doesn't really Help my suitons unless they are Uncapped like Teppoudama, Or water gun (No one has complained about my 4k Teppou yet <.< I thought they would)

It ruins the game altogether. I don't see why more are being added all the time. So much time and effort go into these with negative results. It even puts more time to put caps on things that already had caps. I'm all for slight damage increasing passives like Uchiha and their passive, Hoshigakis for their sharks, but stat boosting has never worked out well for balance. It's an over complication that is not necessary. I honestly think things would go quicker without this detour. We could fix jutsus in general instead of all jutsus combined with one clan/basic move.
Doesn't anyone remember Ket boosts, Akimichi boosts or pills?
Doesn't anyone notice Kusakin Mode, Sage Mode, Satou, Hoshigaki on water and ect?

If a clan does seem to lack without their boost, then why not just replace it with a new passive? Yotsuki gaining raiton damage or lower chakra drain for raiton moves as a passive instead of their boost. The same thing can be applied to all the rest. Kusakin and doton, Hoshigaki and sharks and ect.
Of course 10% increase damage or lowered chakra drain, not the 40% or more.
Basics already have these effects with things like Crimson and ect. They never needed sage mode and others to begin with. Or change what sage mode does. Ever since it was added it was a problem. Stat boosting just does not work.
Hey, I'm asking "If we take THIS, then what?" What your idea, What will we use to fill in the gap, and Further balance, Not "Take this out, Its 2 op" :/ What do you feel would fill the gap if you was to remove kusakin sage mode? Or Akimichi Phys bonus when walking?, I honestly want to know. Some of the things like Less raiton drain Or Shark passive is already in, but what else?

Tell me what you think could work

Even chakra boosts doesn't ruin the game, because you can get hardworker 15'000 chakra, but the con, phy and cap ones... I really like the new idea, since most clans that gets a stat boost, are a passive clan. Yotsuki's raiton damage increase, the same way Uchiha's goukakyuu damage increases with 100/100 Uchiha Mastery.

To be honest, the akimichi boost is fine, since that adds a weakpoint to their character, they keep walking for the rest of the battle.

Kusakin was just perfect without the sage mode... Let's not forget the current Kusakins are supposed to only have Hashirama's DNA and cells, not the real power, which is the Kusakin Sage Mode. Add to that how fast they can master Sage Mode, and can easily use it in a fight, by just putting a kusakin forest, then using sage mode. By the time the enemy shunshins inside, they're already in Sage Mode...

Forest isn't as dense as it used to be anymore though. Not sure how long it takes for a mastered SM to activate, but it shouldnt take you too long to interupt them.

Nevertheless i agree that Kusakin SM was not needed at all.

I heard when a Sage Mode is mastered it takes 15 secs to enter it. Not sure if this is true though.
They call Sociopaths ruthless. I think it should be called efficient.

You can master Kusakin Sage Mode in five minutes.

Whereas CS would take days to actually master while it keeps draining my vit and WP.

While CS is never mastered*****

I once kept CS on for 2 days in the Sound Prison, and nobody attacked me, when I came back, It didn't drain vit but it still drained WP hard.
And while Sage Mode is even better than CS...
